>>>>>[How dare you talk about me like I've lost my mind! You're all
mumbling...
whispering about how that spell was more than just a simple Mana Bolt... how
it was much more sinister... the rumors flying that I'm being mind controlled
to split up the group... well they ain't true. I'm tellin you THEY AREN'T
TRUE. Everything was just fine until SHE came in.

Lauri, I don't care what your past was like. As far as I'm concerned, you are
an interloper who muscled in on me and Chance as soon as you had the
opportunity... when I was taken out after that run, you moved in. You little
backstabbing tramp! Maybe I wasn't moving fast enough, or maybe I didn't make
myself clear, but Chance and I had an understanding! And then YOU come in with
your 'oh, I've been left by everybody I know... please pity me' routine, and
you get Chance (and the rest of the guys, I bet) wrapped around your little
finger.

Chance, you want to know what I'm so fragged off about? I'll tell you after
you put me to bed the other night after the run, I dozed off for a bit. I woke
up later, feeling much better, and heard the trid in the other room... I
figured I'd go and see what was on... then I come in, and see YOU, Chance
McRae, on the couch, with Kelp asleep in your arms. Then it all made sense!
The two of you have been going behind my back, and I just hadn't realized it,
because I was as taken in by Kelp's act as anyone. I thought 'oh no... she
couldn't possibly be interested in Chance. I have nothing to worry about.'
Well boy was I wrong. As soon as I'm out of the way, BOOM. She's in his arms
like she's been there for years.

You may not have seen me, but I saw you. That's when I threw my stuff together
and left. I might be back, but at least now I'm really out of the way. So
enjoy yourselves.]<<<<<

>>>>>[WHAT? Widow... Tanya... that was totally innocent! How could you
think
that I'd be interested in Lauri? She's only 18, for cryin' out loud! She's
still a kid! Why would I do something like that?

And another thing, what do you mean we had an 'understanding'? Huh? I never
knew anything at all about this... I mean, its not like WE were sleeping
together or anything! Come on! You're overreacting! I can't believe you're
being so fraggin' immature about this whole thing! We've known each other for
three years! Would I do something like that? Seriously now...]<<<<<
-- Chance (18:10:19/01-25-55)

>>>>>[Innocent my foot! I can see how anybody would be interested in Kelp,
because she's young, she's pretty, and she's willing to do ANYTHING to be
accepted. I would think that a cheap street-runner like you would go for
someone like that!

AND YOU'RE A BASTARD! Bringing up something like that so crassly! You
overbearing, obnoxious, pig-headed scum-sucker! What do you mean you didn't
know we had an 'understanding'... I thought you knew how I felt... you are
such an insensitive bastard. I may have worked with you for three years, but I
didn't know you then... I know you now... and I'm glad I found out what you're
really like before I made a really big mistake...

Good-bye, Chance McRae. I'm off now. I'm sure you can guess where I'm going,
but don't bother coming after me. I may be in touch, but then again, I might
not. So just stop worrying about me! You've got a world to save after all.
What's one heartbroken ex-corp girl against the lives of millions?]<<<<<

>>>>>[What? Oh lord... she isn't... why now? Why now when I need her most?

Blaze: She's going after her old boyfriend... I don't know how she tracked him
down, but she's going after him... I gotta help... take over this for me.... I
gotta get a trace on her last position... I gotta...]<<<<<
-- Chance (18:18:42/01-25-55)

>>>>>[Chance, you can't. We need to take care of this other thing first...
please... Widow's a grown woman.... she can take care of herself... she'll be
fine.]<<<<<
-- Blaze (18:19:45/01-25-55)

>>>>>[You're right... you're right... but with Boris out there and still at
large, she's in more danger than she realizes... oh god... this is so hard...

>>>>>[Widow, I can take some things, but it's going just too far. I fell
asleep on Chance's shoulder. Suddenly, I'm his lover. The fact that I
was tired and had been fighting a drug reaction all weekend doesn't count.
Doesn't matter waht I say, I'm having an affair with "your" man. I don;t
want him as a lover. I want him as a friend. Like I want you as a
friend. I go to see another friend, Necromancer, and suddenly I'm a slut.
In your eyes, the only thing I would do with a male friend is screw him.
News for ya - I'm still a virgin. Believe that one? After my father
attempted to rape me, I swore I wouldn't let anyone get close... it was
just too personal for me. I don't sleep around. It's just that right
now, between the runs and the accusations, I need to talk to someone.
If you were here, I would want to talk to you. But you aren't.
Necromancer has been through some of the same damn issues and I think it
might help both of us resolve some issues... Please come back. If I did
anything, I'm sorry. ]<<<<<
