>>>>>[How's about I come down your way, bring my deck and some recording
equipment, set up for a weekend of recording, then head out?

In return for use of a room in your house, your music, and hospitality, Ill
cook a dinner for you and Karen. You tell me what you like to eat, and Ill
see if I can come up with something at least close. I make excellent deserts
(pies, cakes, tortes) and pretty decent main dishes. If you dont mind, Im
vegetarian so meatless anything would go over pretty well with me...]<<<<<

>>>>>[Um... sure, I guess, but Casa de Frypp is booked pretty solid.

Mostly because I don't think you'd want to set foot in my place (you
might draw back a stub) and I know my chances of living to see the
sun again would drop considerably with you in the apartment.

You're welcome to the official Guest Couch of Doom in Spark's office
though, with complimentary urnal mint on your pillow and maid
service the next time we burn it out. You know, I think you, of all
of our guests, might be the first to actually get a decent night's
rest in Spark's office....

Or we could try to find someplace to put you up. Write it off as a
corporate expense - call you a software advisor - or something. Bring
some more sales stuff down with you and I'll wave it at the
accountants if they raise a fit.

A vegetarian, huh? The books say elves are vegetarians, too, but
that must only be elves born in the Sixth World or something because
I gotta have my steaks.

I don't care, surprise the hell out of us.]<<<<<

Ummm.... to tell you the truth, I was planning on having Karen over
that night and... uh, well, you know, candles, some light music,
you know, the sort of stuff that gives me the hives.

You know you're welcome over at my place anytime, except this
weekend. I hope you understand.

Anyway, yeah. Things are working out a helluva lot better than I
thought they would with her.]<<<<<

>>>>>[Heh heh. I was wonderin' how long it'd be 'afore someone took me up
on
this one. Ya gotta know I was prolly less than half serious, mate, but I'd
be glad to do what I can fer ya. She human, or meta? I got some buds here in
FRFZ that'd be happy to keep an eye or two on 'er. But if she's related... I
couldn't fer sure promise she'd come back harborin' the same spirit she
showed up with.

On the other hand, I gotta a coupla chicas here in town who'd prob'ly be
more'n happy to take a trip out to ol' Deadinjunville ta follow some little
punk 'round town. I just couldn't promise ya much about that magical
trainin' bit.

If yer really interested, lemme know soon. And lemme know who she's gonna
like more -- my bud Suzanne, one a them dandelion-munchers with a nasty
habit of poppin' people she don't like, or my woman Gabrielle. Gabi's just
yer standard breeder-variety, but she's a musician, and I can guess she'd
prob'ly have yer cousin at any number of shows durin' her stint with her.

Or I can, like I said, maybe get one o' the Philharmonics to hang with her.
If I get one a the youngbloods, he ain't likely ta do anything'll piss me
off, but I can guess he ain't gonna be real good for the kid's mental
health, if ya get my drift...

But I'll be headin' out Seattle-way here soon, to get myself outta
whatever's brewin' here and inta somethin' a little more my flavor. So I
can't handle it personally, but I'll be happy to drag someone along ta help
ya out. I'll even negotiate a sweet discount fer the inconvenience... ya
know, room & board, travel my problem, 100 nuyen a day. She'll be bugger-all
safe though. So think long & hard. I'll start callin' in the
favors.]<<<<<

haven't been by my place. but it aint the safest playpen. um she's
an elf, but you wouldn't be able to tell (a little hocus pocus) so i guess
she'd like Suzanne alot. This will only be for about a week, and no more.
even though it's not what her mother thinks, I think it's high time she
sees some real people for once. well let me know on the rates, and what
you need me to do as far as prepping the kid. and thanks chummer, when ya
get into town look me up!]<<<<<

>>>>>[Hey, so Suzanne it is. I don't really have a rundown on her latest
ops, not that that would give ya much comfort. But I know this woman from
wayback, and she's solid. Ain't nobody gonna frag with yer cuz. I been
talkin' to her just now, and she's more'n happy to fade FRFZ, but she'll be
hopin' to score some work out in Seattle, if ya can dig up someone needs a
little waxin'. Her rates, 's far as her regular biz go, are a little steeper
than her fees for coolin' her heels in a Seattle hotel with a little brat,
but reasonable. She'll tell ya more as needs.

Just the same, if we can scam on a locale, we'll be in town tomorrow. Got
some friends I'll ask about a place ta doss down, and mebee we see 'bout
gettin' the kid some hobbies. Ya know, kid stuff, like target shootin', or
encryption bustin'. If ya need ta talk, leave word at the Psychedelic
Pirate. The barkeep hates me, but he'll pass the message.]<<<<<
