Ok, after spending an hour or so going through what we have so far for the
march log, it is time for me to complain a bit. Please read this.

----------------------------

HOW TO PUNCTUATE:

Remember back in sixth grade when everyone learned these rules of english
punctuation? Let's go over them again....

1) At the end of a sentence, you press space two times. This makes
things easier to read.
2) The first word of a sentence is capitalized.

These are the two most common errors that I have to deal with when I am
editing and it is slowly driving me mad, especially the first one. At
least 50% of the posts only single space at the end of a sentence and it
takes time to try to go through and fix that, and I'll bet most of the
errors got through.

----------------------------------------------------------------

In addition, could everyone PLEASE review the FAQ, espicially the portion
pertaining to posting format? It is really time-consuming to have to go
through and reformat eferything when people don't follow guidelines

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Finally, to everyone who are putting in four or five lines of "encrypt
sequence X" or "begin encryption" or whatever. That really is a waste of
time, espicially if you have six or eight lines devoted to just turning
encryption on and off.

Assume in 2054 they have something like a reverse kill file, in which you
say 'everyone sees this EXCEPT x, y, and z'.

Furthermore, when reading these postings in LOG format, getting suddenly
inturrupted by someone posting "omega encryption sequence initiated" tends
to hamper flow.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Ok, that's all for today. Please everyone, try to follow the guidelines.
They are designed to make things easier on the editor (me) and all of the
other readers.

You can call be a facists bastard if you want, but I will correct you and
let you know that I am not a facist.
