>>>>>[Heheheh. Lynch said "fire in the hole"... That's like, SO,
'20s.
I thought we'd gotten over that little phrase. Seriously though: if
you're going to do a run, and do it stylishly (as Lynch has done in the
past), you have to act the part. You can either:
a> Just keep that stoney "I'll be back" expression, OR
b> you can have fun with it. Just 'cause your life's on the line
doesn't mean you can't have fun (a good one for disembowling is "he had
guts", a fun one for a threat is shooting over their head and then saying
"PSYCH!", but you can't really keep these on stock. You have to come up
with 'em as you use them). In case you haven't guessed, this is our
preference.
(c> act in a really "professional military" way. This is sort of a mix of
"a" and "b", but without the fun)
Now, if you're gonna go for the "c" style, make sure you do it right. If
you recycle a phrase, NOBODY is going to take you seriously (unless it's a
really GOOD phrase, in which case, proper use is essential -- a "fire in
the hole" is NOT an exploding window). As our personal preference, Lynch
should DEFINITELY stick with "a".]<<<<<
