Good evening, this is Charlie Fingers and this is the news on today's
developments in the Trial of Patrick O'Kennedy.
Today the Prosecution presented a proposed schedule of evidence
presentation to the court. The Defense, upon looking it over, accepted
it, as did the Judge. According to the schedule, which was made public
just an hour ago, the Prosecution will begin presenting witnesses and
testimony tomorrow, after the last of the purely documentary evidence was
presented today. After this, the Defense will be have thier opportunity
to present evidence and testimony.
Mr. O'Kennedy has remained silent through the first three days of the
trial, not even speaking with his lawyer. He has, apparently, been
totally silent when asked questions by the police and has only spoken
with his laywer in guaranteed sound-proof rooms within the Metroplex Prison.
He does, however, appear to be in excellent health.
The evidence presented today involved an additional 7 charges, bringing
the total to 11 out of 48.
The trial was, however, relatively uneventful as the last of the
unattached documentary evidence was presented. Tomorrow will begin the
actual testimony by witnesses for the Prosecution.s
