All right!!! Ah will admit that it stunk. Ah just don't have tha musical
ability that Sheena seems ta be gifted with. So sue me. Any way Ah been having
fun in tha Winter Security Systems. In fact, Ah met two nice deckers in there
while Ah was just wanderin around after finishin my work. Ah had been wanderin
around, lookin at things for a while when Ah noticed this other decker, with a
really nice shiny silver icon, in tha node Ah was approaching. Well Ah turned
up tha stealth on tha deck, melted inta the wall and just stood there watchin'
him for about ah minute. Well when he was finishin up what he was doin he
mumble somethin about NYPD probably giving him ah raise for this piece of work.
Well, since it looked like he was about ta leave Ah decided he might be able ta
help me with the layout of the system.
So turnin' of the stealth Ah said "Well sugar, what's a gent like ya doing in a
place like this?" Ya should have seen him jump!! I swear, he almost awakend
the IC. Well he was not all that happy about being snuck up apon, but atleast
he didn't get all trigger happy and make me hurt his cute little Icon. He just
stood there for a second lookin at me, and tryin ta judge what Ah was up ta. Ah
just smiled at him all sweet likea and said "Well ain't ya gonna be a gentleman
and introduce ya fine self ta this sweet southrn bell?" AH'm not sure but Ah
think he actually smiled at that. He introduced himself as Star and asked who
Ah was since Ah obviously wasn't with Winter. Ah told him Ah was Sparks, and
that Ah was just bored today, so Ah figured Ah'd go visit New York, ta see how
tha people up north were doin. He laughed at that and asked if Ah wanted a tour
around the place. Ah cooed that Ah would be delited ta join him. And off Ah
went with one of New Yorks finest on ah very illegal tour of Winter Security.
He seemed ta know his way around around tha place, and even had a backdoor or
two.
Well we were gettin along nice when I noticed ah suit of armor coming towards
us. Well I melted back inta the wall and watched what would happened since the
armor wasn't IC and it wasn't a Winter decker. They were both really surprised
when they saw each other. Ya could just see the sparks fly across the matrix.
The armor spoke up first and smiled "so Star ya bouncin around the Winter
Wonderland too today I see." Star replied "was a good day too until you showed
up Metal." The armor just shrugged at that and said, "I always find it amusing
that Winter, a very dangerous place for us, is the only place we meet peacfully
most of the time. I think it comes from the fact that neither of us is allowed
to be caught."
Well Ah decided ta come out from the wall then, Star was good and didn't jump
but metal stumbled back few paces down the data stream, and motioned as if ta
start a program, but thought better of it. Star smiled and said, "Metal, my I
introduce you to a nice southern Bell by the name of Sparks, who is here in our
fine city on a small vacation get away." Metal just stood there for a pico
before saying "pleased ta metcha. An welcome ta beautaful New Yark." Ah said,
"oh beautiful, now ah can be escorted arround tha Big Apple by two of New Yorks
finest."
Well tha gents put away their differences and we headed out of Winter ta see all
the sights of New York, excluding Ares and NYPD inc. of course. New York does
have a nice matrix life, and Ah was gettin a lot of it. It seems they were both
somewhat freelance deckers for the police, they would do tha less than legal
activities in the others matrix. Ah told them Ah was from Atlanta, and was
bored today, so Ah figured on a journey to the Big Apple. Ah also told them Ah
was curious about this NYPD/Winter/ Knight-Errant set up that New York had so Ah
decided ta visit Winter which was the closest ta tha RTG. We had ah fun night
visiting the different sights but after a while it was gettin late, so Ah
decided ta take mah leave of the fine gents. Ah gave them both a small peck on
tha cheek and thanked them for tha wondeful day. Then Ah went on my way back ta
the base.
Lister, ya and Kichanski are all setup as Winter police officers. Lister your
Officer Patrick Moynahan and Kichanski your Officer Lissa MacHugh. Have fun as
the law, Spirit and Ah will keep tract of your car and we will make sure ya get
