SEATTLE --
Very few details are currently available in the terrorist kidnapping of
Seattle businessman Joseph Yoshida. Apparently, the 59 year old Eagle
shaman was attending a meeting of other Seattle area Eagles with his son,
Norman.

According to police reports, the meeting was invaded by at least a dozen
armed gunmen. In the resulting magic- and firefight, three Eagles are
confirmed dead and at least another nine are known injured, including the
young Yoshida. The attacking gunmen escaped without injury, taking the
elder Yoshida with them.

Those injured have been rushed to City Hospital and are under guarded
condition. The members of the Seatle Eagle's enclave have issued no
comments as of yet. Yoshida Technologies could also not be reached for
comment.

Look, I already did an astral check. I couldn't exactly do anything
fancy, there's a mighty high background count. But as far as I can tell,
he's going to be alright. He's a big guy. Don't know how good he's going
to be at magicking, after this. We'll just have to wait and see. If we
can get him out of there, I can heal him myself, if you want. It'll be
quicker, and it'll keep him from losing magic.]<<<<<
