NACS Names Yoshida as New Head
In a surprise move, the North American Coalition of Shamen has named Dr.
Joseph Yoshida, Eagle Shaman and President of Yoshida Technologies, as
the new head of the organization. Yoshida replaces Dr. Charles Wisdel
who was killed while visiting family in Chicago last November.
"We're not so much surprised by Yoshida's appointment because we feel he's
unqualified," quoted Sandra White-Deer. "Quite the contrary. Joseph's
academic, social, and political accomplishments are in many ways the stuff
of legend. But, is also well known that he is just an adept, and this
represents the first time that an adept has been elevated to this
position."
"I understand the concerns that are being raised," spoke Yoshida during
his acceptance, "and I hope that we can all work together to get over
them. I vow to use all my talents to maintain the high quality work and
presence that Charles always called for."
Yoshida, who had planned on retiring this summer, quipped "Now at least I
won't get bored". Yoshida technologies will be turned over to his son,
Norman. Norman is also an Eagle, but unlike his father, is a full shaman.
Yoshida Tech stock jumped 1 1/8 points following the announcement.]<<<<<
