Trust me, being immortal isn't all that exciting. It's not as bad as
they make out in movies and games, but it is kinda dreary. I'm not
immortal, but I have enough cash that I'm not gonna croak until I want to.
I've had enough muscle replacements, transplants, and vat surgery to make
anyone want to puke (having a stroke REALLY sucks. Especially when it
involves lying on the floor for about thirty hours before anyone realizes
you're acting funny -- and then they decide to have a long heart-to-heart
with your answering machine), and I'm going pretty strong. I got into a
screaming match with the paper boy the other day and managed to whack him
with a newspaper from 50 yards.

You know you're juiced when you can drop a newspaper onto a rambunctios
12 year old from 150 feet. (Little bastard. That'll teach HIM to frag with
someone more than 8 times his age...)

But enough of that topic:

If you're planning to live for a very long time, make sure you do it
near interesting people. And make sure your SO also has the same idea as
you. Being dull with someone you love is kind of fun. Being dull alone,
sucks. I've been alone in this world for over 15 years. I only started
doing interesting stuff last winter (yeah guys, I mean calling here. I
think I've got the world record for Really Old Shadowrunner. Heheheh). The
interveining 14 years were not fun.

In conclusion; if you're going to age, do with style.]<<<<<

I _like_ that trick with the newspapers. We could go into business
selling "Cellulose Ninja Commando Death Rolls" to gullible - hey, wait a
minute, where the hell do you get newspapers from in Seattle? I have to
get the Telegraph sent over from London to get news on _proper_ paper.
That electronic crap gives me a headache and I hate the feel of fax
paper.

Anyway, I hang out with a lot of Washington types, I've got myself a
peerage and a seat in the Lords, and I've finally got my Government
Issue Raincoat so I can work properly with Lynch and Lilith. So boredom
isn't really an issue <g>.

You might want to try Leonisation. It really works. One of Lilith's
friends did, and he lost forty years in six months, now he's back on
flying status and having much more fun than he used to.]<<<<<
