"internal affairs" sort of work. If you're available. ]<<<<<

Well, it seems there was this attempted kidnap-hijacking of some corporate
VIPs. Replaced the flight crew beforehand and took out the bodyguards when
they arrived; the sure money's on inside information. Now, it turns out that
word of the hijacking leaked out, and some troops were in position to help
bring the plane back safely after the hijackers thought they had won. More
inside information from somewhere, it seems. Now, here's the tough part.
Some of the VIPs are part of a very secret project whose compartmentalization
is considered _vital_ by its top execs. Meaning that the brute force leak
finding techniques aren't good enough. Right now I've got several
subcontractors (including NegativeLand) rooting through the corporate systems
looking for clues without arousing suspicion, but they need more physical
mobility (cars, trucks, helos), and I'd rather hire "new" corporate chauffers
than trust the ones we've got (yes, that bad).

Sounds pretty easy so far right? Well, here's the snag. Those secret VIPs
turn out to be my inlaws. Yeah, you heard right. I'm sure you can appreciate
what sort of turmoil that sort of project could involve...especially since
Hayashi's left hand really _doesn't_ know what its right hand is doing, and
would object vigorously if it did. It's corporate infighting at its finest,
and there are players on the board who would kill if they knew what was going
down. We've already seen one team of runners (that hijacking) hired by I know
not yet who; I tend to suspect there are more hiding in the woodwork somewhere
with big nasty toys. To make matters worse, it looks like Hayashi's security
corps has its loyalties divided, and some of them sound like very dangerous
people. I and my employers are hoping to avoid all-out war if this breaks
open, but I want the firepower on tap in case. I'm already working on bringing
in some magical support for the snooping around bit, and if we're unlucky they
could help out in the resulting fireworks.

This is looking like it might be a lengthy retainer with the potential for
involving the heavy artillery, so I suppose we're looking at your standard
<ENCRYPTED> fee, plus another round of interesting goodies for you to
"field"
test. It goes without saying that this whole business is _very_ very
hush-hush; as you can appreciate I have a personal stake in seeing that this
project has its leak plugged without any undue unpleasantness. I don't know
how many other players are involved yet, but in the worst exigency this could
go governmental or Corp Court and ruin everyone's day. Your retainer would
start as soon as you can get out here.

>>>>>[Sweet Jesus, man...never the small problems, is it? I could see how
you an' your SO (so _that's_ where she's from...) wouldn't want attention from
the Corp Court or the gov'mint. I know you're down on th' payment end o'
things, so consider us on th' job. We'll be in touch on the mobile comm when
we're in th' area. I jus' hope you kin keep the lid on all this; I don't much
wanna know what happens if one of the Big Players starts sending in Spec Ops
on a thing like this.
