>>>>>[It looks like those two poor LS transport stiffs are the ones to
blame for that biff's "escape". The Star got ahold of a bunch of security
tapes that have been tampered (according to the report, they were tampered
with pretty well) with along an _alternate_ route (one that would have
taken just as long, but gone basically right _over_ our little hole in the
ground). They also acquired a bunch of footage from the route the van was
supposed to follow. One of them (an in store security cam, probably not
attached to the matrix) shows a very nice looking black van drive by (no
id tho).

This is what LS thinks happened:
1. Drivers want the chick for some reason (motive) --prolly gang related
(she was a smalltime dealer remember)
2. They hire a good decker to munch up the sec. cams, and a driver to
follow their _real_ route.
3. When it comes to actually kidnapping her, they drive along their real
route and have the driver follow. At exactly the same time, the homing pip
in the transport is turned off (so that LS can't track it any more), and a
fake one in the car behind it is turned on.
4. The car takes the real route, while the transport goes wherever it
wants to (by the trail of skrewed pix, we can assume it went near that
chamber). Meanwhile the decker munges the pictures to look like the
transport is following the route it should be.
5. The mage on the transport does something to all the other girls in the
transport and hides our lass in the hole.
6. The transport meets up with the car on it's route, and they switch the
homers again.

Only problems being (these weren't mentioned in the report, but they are
in other LS documents that I've seen):
- The mage on the transport sucked. (I don't know how powerful a wiz has
to be to put 25 mundanes to sleep for five minutes, or however long it
took to remove Toastie, but I would assume this poor loser couldn't do
it). This also means that he probably didn't to the magic down in the hole
(you said it was powerful right? This guy had trouble making it into the
Thaum div., I don't think he can perform heavy mana).
- Their bank accounts are stable. No big influx (payoff) or outflux
(paying for the decker/driver).
- There is no record of the homer being phucked with. They're supposedly
really well hidden, and all that. They are not something you can flick on
and off with the toss of a switch.

Sorry about my lack of coherence, but easter is a real bitch of a
holiday. All those damn screaming kids and their fragging parents all
wanting to be served at the same time. Frag them. 12 hour shifts suck.

Tell me what you think about LS's conclusions.]<<<<<
