>>>>>[ <chuckle> Yeah, I'm still alive. Barely. Things have been
hell
the last couple years though.

We moved around a few times, either tracking Stands and that bug cult she
seemed to be working with, or on occasion, running from them. We resolved
the situation about a year ago, but... Well... Johnny didn't make it out
of there in one place.

I'd rather not say where we're at right now. Paranoia still runs deep
(Hey, when everyone *IS* out to get you...), and at this point, we've
managed to "Retire", or a close approximation of that. Things have been a
bit wierd, but we've adjusted. And I got real tired of getting shot at or
spit at or whatever else the baddies have wanted to do to us, especially
since it involved Marie, Billy, and Reba.

Xuxa's in Cleveland now running a nice little Talismongering shop along
with Penthisil and Tailspin. I hear they've been avoiding doing any
'Running, but that they occasionally hire out to do some rituals and stuff
like that.

Glad to hear you guys are still in one piece. How did the rest of the IF
gang fare? I know I pretty much did the quick fade after our showdown in
Seattle a couple years ago, and I apologize for that. Stands ran, and ran
fast, and we had a hell of a time staying on her trail.

Like I said though, retirement is, well... boring. And I've found that
fishing just isn't that much fun since they told me I can't use grenades
anymore. So I'll be around.

I've decided to take a tip from Billy and try out one of these VR Matrix
games, this game called "Heroes of Koth". It's some sort of silly Fantasy
game, pretty much mindless hack and slash, but it's diverting and fun, and
kind of addicting. A little like fighting IC in a sculted system, with no
fear of Dump Shock :] Plus, I seem to be halfway decent at it.

Anyways, like I said, I'll be around. Keep in touch, and if anyone else is
still around, let me know. I'd like to look them up.

And one of these days, we'll all have to get together for dinner or
something, my treat. If nothing else, I still owe you all a big one.]<<<<<

stayin' here with the "underground" faction in Anna. Ther aren't many of us,
but when we come out, don't start poppin' caps. These guys are on our side.

By the by, anybody got a line on a weapon focus? I think it's about time I...
invested.]<<<<<
