Wildfire also is gone, though he went the way of noble spirits. He was astral
when the cataclysm occurred, and I have not been able to save him. He passed
away several hours ago.
Apparently, someone cleaned out Anna's bank before we got there. Only about
500k $UCAS remain, and these alone are insufficient to resettle the
survivors. We are trying now to gather transportation, and are dismantling
the few weapons systems which remain functional. These we hope to trade for
housing for the homeless metahumans in town. We are moving what is not
necessary for suppressing the remaining resistance out of town, waiting for
