We've just recieved news that two busses filled with teenagers returning to=
Haven from a field trip were attacked not more than 5 minutes ago. The six=
attackers fired an anti-armor missile of some sort into the lead bus,=
killing the driver instantly and rolling the bus onto its side, blocking=
the road. Then 3 of the 6 attackers, screaming the words "Let there be=
light", opened the emergency exit at the back of the bus, knocked out the=
windshield, and fired automatic weapons into the bus.
The second bus successfully stopped and was attempting to back out of the=
combat area when the 3 remaining attackers shot out its tires and then=
leveled automatic weapons at the front and both sides. Only the timely=
arrival of several InterPol officers prevented all the children in the=
second bus from being killed. As it is, nearly everyone in the lead bus=
was killed and there were several fatalities from the second as well. =
Unconfirmed reports place the number of dead at 50 and wounded at over 20,=
out of a known 83 passengers. Further reports indicate that the attackers=
also killed several passer-bys who were unlucky enough to be in the area. =
The International Police, assisting Lone Star and various federal agencies=
under direct request from the UCAS government, has not allowed the press to=
enter the area, and have actually shot down two press drones. One drone=
was able to get this picture before being destroyed by InterPol.
+++++ The image is of a smoking, wrecked bus, with more holes in the body=
and roof than there is metal. There are numerous unidentified bodies=
around the bus, varying in size from normal human to troll to dwarf. Some=
are children, and thier bodies have been covered with blankets. Only six=
lie uncovered beside thier weapons, which range from HK227s to an HVAR and=
a discarded MAW rocket tube. Lone Star is just arriving, but 4 fully=
armored officers wearing InterPol security armor are standing around,=
roping off the area with police tape.
One of the bodies is lying right next to the roof of the bus, where he was=
writing something in blood when he was shot - "No Innoce..." +++++
The names of the deceased will not be released to the press pending=
notification of thier families.

And I was looking to figure out where those grey-robed fraggers disappeared=
to when this came on, and spotted a few things at the same time. Yo,=
Haven! You really need to improve your camera security.

The video shows the interior of a hospital, specifically what looks like the=
intensive care ward. There are 4 or 5 people here, one of which is on=
complete life support, another is undergoing surgery within a sterile=
surgical tent to reattach a hand, and the other just appears to be on a=
vital signs monitor. At approximately 2:21PM according to the camera=
clock, the red-headed elven woman on the vital signs monitor sits bolt=
upright, screams "GET OFF THE BUS!!!!!!", and then continues to scream at=
the top of her lungs.

And then this happened when the news report hit the air:

A man comes running up to one of the doctors, who has gone back to attaching=
the person's hand, and taps through the surgical tent. A woman is=
immediately behind him, changing quickly but carefully into surgical=
scrubs. A light glow of magic appears around her as she steps into the=
tent and takes over for the head surgeon. The surgeon steps out of the=
tent, reseals it after him, and removes his mask and gloves to reveal a=
gaunt face, brown eyes, black hair, and the well known face of Dr.=
Alexander Jackson.
"Boss, there's a news clip you need to see now."
"All right. Turn on the monitor."
A slightly different version of what is described above replays across the=
monitor. The camera catches some movement from AJ as he sees the=
half-written words across the roof of the bus - his mouth twitches and he=
begins to flex his hands almost reflexively. The only other change in his=
countenence is a single tear shed and a change in his eyes that isn't so=
much physical as instinctive.
"Prep the Hudson. I'm going home after I send a message from Val's office."
"Right. Watch it, boss. Without your daughter...."
"I know. Just go."
