Until Doc Wagon let's anyone visit Scourge, we are pretty much at a
dead end. I have in the meantime let my deckers lose on chasing down
information on the one hostile dead body that we have from New Years.
It is a long shot, so I don't expect anything there.
The last significant thing was that Scourge sprung his first trap,
and someone responded with a team that was immediately dealt with.
We caught one live soul (the rest lost to the extra "protection" had
for the brief period of time). Interrogating him lead to the fact
that they were hired by some person with an assumed named via the
matrix. Surprise, surprise, it was done through the Dee Cee scene.
Chasing the name lead nowhere.
We don't know what Scourge's next step was, but he had another idea.
Unfortunately, we are at a loss, and I haven't sent my team to see
who was watching the logs. Mostly I haven't done that because
Scourge set up a nasty little pet to watch his log, and I'm not sure
I want to try to defang it. Knowing Scourge, it might be proper to
ask Black Knight to open it up.
However, from what little I know of Black Knight, having him run
around the Feds nodes is probably not your safest bet. I suspect he
doesn't have a UCAS security clearance because of his past life in
Germany. While I doubt he would let his past interfere with his
professionalism, I just honestly don't know him.
While we wait for instructions, we are going to continue tooling up.
