Just bear in mind that Gowne, too, is an honest and honourable man in
his way. He fears what happens, if the UCAS military ran wild and
unchecked. Indeed, he *saw* what happened, and he is determined to
prevent it happening again. I'm the designated scapegoat, "pour
encourager les autres". Shit happens

Thank you for your honesty and your honour. If worst comes to worst, I
may come your way looking for some shadow work <g> Failing that... if I
don't get sacked or jailed, if you hear about some bad things happening,
you might want to drop me a line. Sometimes, I can help.]<<<<<

I apologize for cross-posting this to both ShadowRN and ShadowTK, but I
did not know of any other way to correct this problem and notify the person.

There was an account subscribed to the new SHADOWTK list called
shadowta@******.BITNET. Unfortunately, the listserv did not register it
as a valid sending address and this cause several bounced messages which
were reposted back to me. I sent a message to shadowta@******.BITNET and
have received no reply as of yet.

In order to prevent the bouncings, I had to delete shadowta@******.BITNET
from the membership rolls of SHAODWTK. Will the person who set up this
account please contact me so we can try to determine what went haywire?
We can then resubscibe the account.

Thanks.

a
misunderstanding between us, and I really regret it... I thought that you were
telling me not to get involved at all, and I went into a rage because I
thought you were being a scuzz. You thought that I was going to come flying
down and pull Lauri away from you, and didn't want that to happen...

So I'm sorry... I honestly just want to try and get to the bottom of this
mystery... Lauri can do what she wants, but I don't want her to have to do it
while being hunted by a corp, especially Raku.... I got carried away, and
kinda regret it now... just don't get all bent out of shape, OK? If you;ve got
problems, ask for help, don't try and handle them all by yourself. OK?

It's partly because I came back and everything seemed to have blown up, with
things going on that I didn't know about... I don't like not knowing,
especially when it involves friends. Again, I apolagize for being such a
tempermental schmuck. Hope everything works out for you.]<<<<<

I would like to take this moment to apologise for a post made by one of
my players to this list on a subject that apparently had no relevance
whatsoever to this list.

It was recommended she read the FAQ, and has done so. I would like to
quote the following.

Just a small point, and this is in no way to be taken in any way
resembling a complaint, just an observation why my player posted to
Shadowtk.

FROM FAQ

ShadowTK (SHADOWTK@********.iTribe.net)
Shadowtalk is an interactive fiction mailing list based on Shadowrun.
Members of the list post as characters in genre, and by responding to
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
each other's posts "in character", stories are developed. These stories
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
may then be used by players and GMs alike as a basis for contacts, NPCs,
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
and adventure plots in their own campaigns.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

She took this part of the FAQ to mean she could post a question in here
*in character* and get information back *in character* as it states in
the FAQ.

I apologise for this obvious breech of policy and netiquette in this
group, as she and I obviously mistook this as a place for character
discussion. We will both unsubscribe from this list, as neither of us
have any interest in involving ourselves in "on-going PBEM games"

Again, apologies for being *in character* in the *wrong* place.

Pete
