Wow.
Well, you want the good news or the bad news first?
The good?
Sure. Why not?

The good is that they don't have any more info on you. At least from
what they apparently already have. The bad is that I had to toast your
house with most of your belongings in it to make sure they stayed that
way.

The fight was ugly after your "left." I guess it was something about
taking on people in heavy armour. General opinion from the polls is
that whatever you got yourself into is mighty messy. Some of my
associates are working up a report for the incident -- if you care.

I'll be by Easy's club in a bit. I'm doing some shopping for you in
the meantime. After all, it wouldn't do to have you in my debt after I
just paid off mine. See you then, and stay out of trouble, damn it!

Easy's club isn't exactly a brightly lit place, I don't want the locals

Never got a chance last night to thank you for your assistance in
getting some of your friends to run interference to get him away. So
here goes: Thanks. What you did is much appreciated, especially in
light of what you are trying to do. You are truly a good friend of
his.

(Oh, that is worth so much. Deuce being impressed -- just don't tell
Doomsday.)

Anyway, I've been shopping for our injured friend. Hopefully, I'll get
him out of your hair in the very near future. Both Doomsday and
Blitzkrieg seem very interested in getting a hold of somebody named
Midnight. Not sure what it is about, but I guess I'll hang around
until he/she/it gets to the club and sees him.

Btw, thanks for last night. It was a blast. We should do it again
sometime.

(If you care, I'll probably by the club in a couple of hours. I have
some last minute chores to finish up before I can head on over.) Catch
you around. ]<<<<<

Either call me at >>number<< if you want to shop in England, or at
>>number<< if you want to shop in Germany. (I would try the England
number first in any event, as I'm currently in London. Although, with
the weather being what it is, I'm thinking about going back to Germany
soon.)

If you want to shop elsewhere, I might be able to help, but that will
take some effort to track down. Still, either number should suffice to
get in touch with me. ]<<<<<

Although, don't expect me to hang out with you guys. I had my own
experience with LSS tonight, and I don't think I want to get arrested
for knowing some "terrorists". I guess they never met either HAMMER or
the Wanderer.

I would _love_ to know what the frag is going on though. And,
apparently, so would my charming brother. (I wouldn't mind knowing how
he found out anything about this, but then again, I should know
better.)

As far as contacting Midnight goes ... I have had no luck. Let's just
leave it at that. ]<<<<<<

>>>>>[ Whatever disease you have caught has apparently caught up with
Midnight.

How to explain? I'm not really sure.

Apparently, earlier this tonight, LSS paid a call to Rachel's
residence. When it was clear that they came to arrest Midnight, he
tried to get away. He did successfully do that, but paid the price by
taking at least one bullet for his efforts. Rachel was arrested for
aiding/harboring a known criminal, and Nikki was almost put in a foster
home. At this time, the band and I get called into LSS for some
"questioning." Luckily, I remember to use my one phone call to get a
in touch with Rachel's corporate lapdog. Oh. I mean lawyer.
(Apparently, Rachel had yet to get that right.)

The guy shows up very quickly and raises a huge storm. We all continue
to claim we are innocent and had no idea that Chris was a terrorist.
"He _seemed_ like such a nice dude. I would have never guessed he
would be a threat to anyone. What he do? REALLY?!? Oh my God.
That's, like, hideous.") Rachel's employer goes to bat for Chris and
claims that they must have false evidence against Chris because his
background check came up clean. Somehow that shark lawyer even turned
the negative of Chris running into a positive. (Police brutality, no
warrant, etc.)

Fuckers.

Rachel and Nikki are staying with me. I'm trying to delay my death
sentence for allowing Nikki to experience LSS hospitality. So what am
I doing? The next worst thing: when we go on tour, they are going with
us.

I'm going to continue to try to contact him, through places he might
go, but right now, I'm running out of ideas. I'm thinking of visiting
Shields and having her send a watcher to him, but I'm not sure whether
that would work or not, and I hate to waste her time.

Other than telling Deuce that I haven't found Midnight, I haven't let
him into what else is going on. I'm planning on keeping that way. I
recommend you do the same.

I'll be in touch when I find Midnight. Until that time, keep your head
down and heal up. ]<<<<<

Duh.

You might find it useful to contact Richard Parkes, in Ringwood, down on
the South Coast. He's got a shopfront at >>LTG<<, or you can drop by in
person at >>address<<.

He's a swordsmith who does marvellous reproductions, and he also knows a
lot of people on the antiques circuit. You want a real antique or a
modern copy, he's a good guy to ask. (And his copies are spot-on,
believe me. Most of the blades decorating Glamis are from him).]<<<<<
