>>>>>[I cannot seem to draw Lillith out, it may well be that they are
being overly cautious because of the recent situations that follow them.
Or they are under orders from SIGA not to engage. Her responses to my
posts have been short and pointless, completely against her normal
behaviour patterns. i expected a far more vehement response to my
shapeshifter observations.

It may be possible that SIGA have verified the information I present and
have informed her that she would not be arguing from a position of
strength. I cannot tell. Lynch's silence concerns me. That he has not
leapt to the defence of his wife's species is puzzling and again not
what the analysts have stated would be the reaction. Although the
conversation with others in the node is interesting and diverting, it is
achieving little except to awaken the population to yet another threat
that faces them, the Conspiracy Net is overrun with speculation
concerning the take over of the UCAS government by alien creatures that
are conditioning the cities to become farms, with the humans fulfilling
the roles of cattle for the shifters. Amusing, but hardly worthy of
attention. Media attention is slightly less than I would have hoped,
but at least questions are being asked on the programs we predicted
would take note.

I suspect that it would be a good idea to pull out of this and return to
our initial plans. There is interest in killing Lynch, we have an offer
from an assassin by the name Ein-Scuss - a reputedly efficient killer,
he will return with a price for the head of Lynch, it will no doubt be
an obscene figure that I think we will find difficult to pay. Also, we
need to analyse the potential repurcussions of assassinating Lynch.
Seattle would become a war zone of that there is no doubt, and we
amongst many others could profit from such a situation. However, the
increased attention such a hit would bring upon the city would be a
continual and unpredictable yet determined thorn. I would suggest that
we accept the contract - payable on successful conclusion, and while
Ein-Schuss wastes his time hunting down the ghost that Lynch has become
we move our operation to another location. Achilles are proving to be a
little too persistant. They are starting to ask questions in the right
places, and that is unacceptable. I was hoping that the recent
incidents during the peace talks would preoccupy them, but that has not
proved to be the case - whomever assigned those hits is ambitious but
foolhardy. It also appears that I have awakened some other creatures of
the net. A poster - Ravelin has begun to scream about conspiracies and
government cover-ups. Unfortunately he is achieving nothing except to
ridicule my own efforts to bring the Lynch's out of their shell.
Whether he is operating from the previous evidence that directed insults
and challenges will drag them out I am not sure, but I'm inclined to
suspect this may be the case. If they have some sort of matrix effort
awaiting the arrival of one of the Lynch clan mighgt explain his random
and rather disjointed comments.

The effort, in my opinion is futile, and although there is no doubt that
they have attempted to trace me, and no doubt lost equipment and staff
in the effort, they still do not rise to the challenge. A trace that
reveals some of the most vicious IC and viral subroutines that Renraku's
lunatics can dream up, and we get nothing. At the very least I expected
the loss of a decker to stir up some reaction from someone. I can only
conclude that they are under one of the strictest gagging orders ever
enforced.

We are wasting our time, time that would be better spent on the new
interface and implimentation of the programming. We have a subject, we
have confirmed sales of the Chronos prototype, we have successfully re-
negotiated the funding and contract with Aztechnology, what more do we
want. Relocate to a more peaceful town, and begin work anew. This
baiting of the Lynch's is not only tedious, but ultimately does little
to further our aims. At least several things have been achieved and
learned in this. Lynch is hated, savagely hated by some, ignored by
others. His previous supporters have remained silent, though Griffyn
has shown his teeth recently.

I suggest we contact Haze, keep Ein_schuss on a retainer and long leesh
with the payment hovering somewhere under his nose to remind him how
rich he could be from a successful attempt. Possibly explore other
avenues to cause trouble for the Lynch clan, rather than attack them
directly, and prepare the second phase of Chronos. It may even be
possible to use the second phase to kill Lynch if all other avenues
fail. I do not expect Haze to succeed, and likewise Ein-Schuss will
fail, but it will serve to make Lynch nervous, and a nervous man will
make mistakes. If we maintain a silent presence, attack him from
concealment, do not give him rest, hound him continually for the next
few months he will be suffering from frayed nerves, exhaustion and all
the things that will look nice and psychotic on the trid when we
confront him. We could release a certain other creation at an opportune
moment - let Lynch believe that Thunda _has_ come back to haunt him.
And then the ultimate test. If Phase 2 succeeds so much the better, but
if it fails, we will still gather invaluable data for Phase 3. Phase 3
of Chronos is the one that will be the money maker for us. An
assassination drone based around the killer of SIGA, using the simsense
information derived from his activities and preprogrammed to match his
style of combat. We could accuse him of anything and there would be
nothing to prove us wrong. Making Phase 3 look like Lynch would be an
interesting form of vengeance, but I think unnecessary. The methods are
far more important, the fact that it matches things he has done before
would be incontravertible in their accusation.

It would destroy Lynch, and with him SIGA, and Achilles, and all the
other psychotic little projects this government attempts. Leaving the
streets and business open to free manipulation. With these opponents
out of the way, we could operate openly and make a killing - literally.
I respectfully request permission to withdraw from this pointless
baiting exercise.]<<<<<

>>>>>[Very well, request granted. Return to the fold. There are things
that we must discuss. Ravelin has made overtures concerning a united
front against SIGA. I am tempted, but this is something we must all
take a part in. I will inform Samhain and Eblis that we are to meet to
discuss this.

The datastore attacked by the itinerant decker recently has been secured
and located in a different area. Once the buyers have finished
accessing and downloading the information they require we will destroy
it, I can see no other way to make certain we are secure for Phase 2.
Already too much information has been made public regarding Chronos.
Sources indicate that Achilles have managed to add two and two together
and after considerable deliberation, actually came out with 4. They are
close to understanding Chronos. We need to get Phase 2 on-line as soon
as possible.]<<<<<

>>>>>[I have analysed some of the situation we face. If Haze decides to
allow our assistance I will allow him control of the cells. No, before
you ask I will not turn over each and every one to him, that would be
too much risk, and he would probably send them all against our
opposition at the same time. One at a time. He can use the Children to
hound Lynch. That at least will keep Lynch occupied while we continue
the work on Phase 3.

I have considered the problem of Achilles. We will need to use similar
tactics as those employed by yourself recently. Misinformation, cast
doubt on their services, set them up for teh occassional error. If we
can make arrangements that they attack an innocent charity in mistake
ofr a cell, we can use that as propganda in the popular media. Begin by
discrediting the agency. Then when we are ready. Strike.

Lynch is not our primary concern, or threat. He is a single man in a
large world, and he has more enemies than anyone could wave a stick at.
With Haze and the other diversions we have at our disposal, plus access
to some other assets we can make his life a living nightmare. How will
he be in six months after he has spent that entire time on the run,
hiding and ducking in the shadows from ghosts and those who hunt him?
No, he will die, but it will not be us who kill him, he will die by his
own hand, through error and misjudgement.

We concentrate for now on Phase 2, and Achilles. Somehow we need to
direct their attention elsewhere.

Belial. As revealed by Ravelin's post, you are now being brought into
question. Ravelin has attempted a trace on you, possibly on Eblis and
no doubt on myself. If he has tried, then it is guaranteed that others
have, it may well be that the Lynch's have already attempted such an act
and have suffered accordingly. This I suspect is why they are silent in
opposition. They already know you are not a normal everyday
reasearcher. Your references have missed the mark, and many have
ignored them, such is the way of things. No matter, doubt has been
cast, questions are being raised, how long can it be before the clan are
asked leading questions at a crime scene, how long before the less moral
media decides to react to their attrocities?

I am unsure of this Ravelin, he makes a strong point - too strongly. I
see something else in this, something that may be detrimental to us, yet
benefit him. I believe that Ravelin may consider us a foil to use
against Lynch, and as such, that would be bad for us. We shall see. I
have announced our interest, but with reservation. It is important that
the board meets.]<<<<<
