>>>>>[ We need to talk. Things were going fine with the rental of my
workshop, but five nights ago I come back and the place is a wreck...
everything's gone (well, anything that costs any nuyen), including
your Obeyifah. I thought you said you'd checked him out? I know
you've been off the 'Trix lately, but I could use some answers.

>>>>>[ Hmmm...I WAS checking him out. Unfortunately, it sounds like things
came to a head before my investigations were concluded.

Send me a bill - I'll take it out of his hide. Or retrieve your stolen
property. ]<<<<<

>>>>>[ Children.

I don't object to you having disputes, or even trying to work them out.
However, you made a mistake when you let your antipathy for each other spill
out into my associate's workplace.

Now, here's a friendly tip. Come and see me - well, my associates at least.
Bring whatever you took from the workshop and >>encrypted<< each to cover
damages. Turn it over and you'll be free to go on your way, with no
recriminations and no hostilities. We will have no further dealings.

I'm afraid if you don't agree to that, the next tip won't be so friendly.

>>>>>[ It was with much regret that I received your e-mail. You must
believe I had nothing to do with this: indeed, I had finished (for
the time being) with the workshop the night before it was ransacked.
I have since been forced to move on, as Corrina has fled Seattle.
I cannot let her escape, not now. Her crimes are too great, and
have been weighing on me too heavily. I will have revenge.
Trust that I will return to make reparations, but for now, I have
nothing to give you. I regret that you have been brought into this
situation. ]<<<<<

>>>>>[ I'm afraid that isn't good enough. If it was just me you were
dealing
with, I'd let it slide - for now. But you've made me look bad in front of a
client. I don't allow that.

So you have two choices. You can come in peacefully, and we can sort
something out. Or you can run, and I will find you. And we will work
something out and, if you're very lucky, you'll still be alive once it's all
over.

Is that what you want? ]<<<<<
