To better explain the search and satiate the curiosity of those of you
who are suspicious as to my motives, I offer the following information.

Brave is a member of the Cherokee army, in a sniper squad under the indirect
command of Colonel Smith, an old friend of mine. Brave is known to be
magically active, in your hermetic terms. He is classified as an adept. To
guide him along a responsible path, I have been his mentor for some years
now. Great Spirit follows him closely; the boy is gifted with athletic
prowess and a sharp mind, as well as the will to resist the powers of
evil spirits. He is an excellent shot with bow as well as firearms, and
his training with the traditional weapons of knife and spear, as well as
the sword, are excellent.

Last year I felt that I had done as much as I could alone, and contacted
a group of gifted warriors (in your terms, adepts) to ask them about
allowing another to join them. They are dedicated to protecting nature
and the will of the Great Spirit who guides us all. Brave has performed
several quest and gone through a number of ordeals in fulfilling his loyalty
to the group. After discussing the matter with their leader, I have
determined that Brave is likely on a VisionQuest. I am not sure but I believe
he may be headed for Tulsa, Oklahoma, in your Confederation. I must go now.

My latest information comes from a OHP dispatch. It seems a rancher near
Catoosa was found dead, with a large-calibre bullet in his head. The
ballistics team is still checking, but it is inevitable that they will
match it to either an explosive Ruger round or a sniper rifle. In the
latter case, complications will arise with the Cherokee nation. If any
teams in the area wish to earn a favor from myself or Colonel Smith, removal
of the evidence, both real and digital, would greatly benefit our cause.
Our resources, while not vast, are enough to equip a small group with a
moderate level of equipment.]<<<<<
