Im going to need to spend the next couple of months back in classes to beef
up my security rating. Originally I pushed for getting the certification for
instructor but I backed off when other things got in the way (LSS would have
promoted me into a training position and I wanted to stay in the field). Ill
enroll for the security specialist instructor's suite of classes in a couple
of days. Summer session should be starting up soon.

Assuming you agree, we could do it as a loose partnership. Ill deal solely
with the magical assets giving your offices free access to my personel (I
have already started recruiting some of the retired LSS officers and a
few friends from 'the old days') in return for the same treatment from your
office. For legal reasons it might be best to keep the companies separate
at least until I am established down your way.

I am not as good with legalities and the like but this is what the lawyers
explain to me when I ran it past them. They caution against tying up liquid
assets at this time (I guess that sounds resonable). They've already figured
out a way to take out a loan against my reel-life franchise here in seattle
for most of the startup capital needed. The rest I will...find...if necessary.

Im planning on retiring for a while. Im going back to school to finish some
magical research and MAYBE finish up my Ph.D in Paranormal Biology. I
definitely need to slow down for a while. Feels like I am getting a little
too old for this free-lance line of work. I have a couple feelers out for a
new startup venture with a friend down in Cal. I've always wanted to head up a
magical security company. Seems like the market might be ripe for one right
about now.

If you can get away, the company 'technology convention' (vacation) will
be coming up soon. I dont know where it is but you can call the office and
ask Tris if you are interested. I think we are going to London or something

Kabukli Man's toys showed up the other day and he decided to start

I dunno..... sure, what the hell? Lemme run it by my people down

then I guess they'll all have jobs waiting here... the Japs won't be
THAT draconian, will they?

Anyway I hope you and your family and all the other people in IF are all
right and well and healthy and there aren't any bugs coming to eat your
brains, because if there are and you need some help then you know where
I am and I might be able to bring some of my friends if you need _lots_
of help and it's in the right place and you don't mind the help being
sort of loud and obvious and can cope with police and other sort of
people afterwards asking "what were all those explosions?", which since
you're all shadowrunny sort of people you probably _do_ mind quite a
lot, so that's not as good an offer as it sounds. But it's there if you
need it anyway.]<<<<<
