TOWER OF LONDON "BUZZED" BY DRAGON
Eyewitnesses claim aliens responsible

At approximately 3:14 yesterday afternoon the Tower of London was attacked by
an unknown dracoform, resulting in little damage to the Tower itself but
massive structural damage to the Tower Thistle Hotel across the street.
Beefeater Sergeant Edward Carruthers was patrolling the Tower's battlements
at the time of the attack. "Cor, 'E was a big one! 'ad a wingspan wide as Tower
Bridge, 'e did!" Carruthers reported.

"I was on top of the Tower, cleanin' out some birds' nests, when I sees this
shimmering in the air, about 'alf a mile above and behind the hotel. And then I
sees this great beast--lord, what a monster 'e was!--appear, Like 'e'd just
dropped a cloaking field or some such. Now, 'e was divin right at me, and outa'
the sun, too, but I coulda sworn he looked somthin' metallic. So I thinks,
"Eddie, it's about time ye got your arse outa' there." An' I did. Oh, boy, I
din't move that fast in all my born days.

"So the Dragon dives at th' Tower, only 'E goes slamming into the roof of the
'otel instead, an' he tears out these steel beams like they was paper, an he
sticks 'is great ugly 'ead inside, but then 'e looks up. An' when I look up,
the way th' dragon's lookin, right? I sees this Spaceship! Aliens, it was!
It was black as night, an' it looked like a big flounder 'angin' in midair!
So the spaceship, it wiggles it's wings at th' Dragon, and takes off screamin',
like a...like a...like somethin' unholy! Then it just disappears!

"The dragon, it looks off after the flyin' saucer, and it shimmers, and then
'e's just gone!"

Sergeant Carruthers story was corroborated by other eyewitnesses in and around
the tower complex at the time. Damage to the hotel appears to be contained to
the top floor, estimated by Lloyds to be within a range of two to three million
pounds. There are no known casualties from the attack, although police are still
sifting through the wreckage in search of the missing occupants of the hotel's
Royal Suite.

A spokesman for the Wierd Happenings Organization, which is headquartered in
the Tower, said the matter was under investigation but they could not comment
at this time. ]<<<<<
