and now the pertinent parties have withdrawn to heal their modesty. My only
comment about this rather...unusual lingerie party is that the men in question
did, in my opinion, receive their just desserts for their actions.
Why, you might inquire?
They shall claim, indeed, they have claimed they were defending their honor.
However, one does not respond to a challenge to one's honor by acting
dishonorably. Nightstalker and Highlander resorted to subterfuge as opposed to
a direct, honest reckoning, which would be the solution as dictated by Honor,
and as such, they paid the price...one paid in increments of considerable
embarrassment, but paid nonetheless.
As to the women, my impression is that it was uncalled for to force Raven to
adopt similar attire against her will. It is not for another, even a friend,
to aggressively draw one out in such a manner over such violent protests, I
feel. Oftentimes such actions can do more harm than good. ]<<<<<
