All right, Cerise, it isn't you; I was afraid of that. I've seen her myself,
now. She was across the street from Basil's when I left last night, just
watching the front door. When she saw me, she smiled, and beckoned. I've
never been more terrified--or more...excited. Part of me wanted to go over
to this woman, and the rest wanted to get as far from her as possible. The
feet won: I've never run so fast, and I drove my Americar so recklessly, it's
a miracle that I didn't get hurt. Anyway, I'll hang around here until you
get over here.
