>>>>>[Cooper, why don't you come over to the party, and we can discuss the
suspects. I, for one would like to hear who they are, 'cause I know you
can't expect the FBI to do anything right. See you at the party, if you DARE
to come.]<<<<<

Besides, I AM NOT really challenging Cooper, I just want to get to know him.

>>>>>[Attention, all Shadowrunners involved in the investigation of the
Metahuman Serial Killer:
I walked down to my friend's office and took a sharp gander at his files
(with his unspoken permission, of course) and can relay the following.
Unfortunately, I couldn't get actual transcripts so the report is off the cuff,
as I remember various details. I was unable to collate the data effectively.

The Killer has been know by a number of aliases. Witnesses questioned by
Interpol report a blonde, blue-eyed man living in Waldorf, Germany, just outside
of Heidelberg. The man was reportedly quiet but caused no trouble. When the
first killing was reported, he testified to having seen a punk in the area; the
story was corroborated by other neighbors and said punk was found, tried, and
executed. Three months later, a similar killing turned up in the river, just
under the Philosopher's Bridge. Over the next month, two more bodies turned up
in the area, from Hockenheim to Waldorf. Making the connection with the first
case, police went back and checked the witnesses again. The perpetrator would
have gone free if one of the Polizei had not been an Eagle adept who noted a
disturbing aura on the killer. An attempt to arrest resulted in the
disembowlment of said adept and his mundane partner. A later search and seizure
of property resulted in the discovery of hair, blood, and other trace elements
of the victims.
These first four victims, except for the first, were elven. The first, a
10-year-old boy, had a father who had goblinized into a Troll. Subsequent
investigation revealed that the father and perpetrator had been friends before
the goblinization, working buddies on a construction team. Psychological
speculation has it that the killer, known to hate metahumans in general, killed
the child to rob the troll of someone he loved, as the troll's metamorphosis had
robbed him of his best friend. He may also have killed to prevent the genes from
being passed on. It is suspected that the killer hired a punk to wander through
town and used him as vagrant bait for the police.
Having tasted murder, the killer went on his subsequent spree, taking
out his racist vengeance on female elves (who are generally the weakest of all
metahumans-current company excluded). The killer left and was lost track of,
until more deaths occurred in France and Britain.
Sorry to leave so abrubtly, but I must go. Initiate meeting and all that
We're getting a new member, fresh out of Law school and training. I'm going to
use Physical Mask to appear as a 7' foot tall bunny and call myself Harvey,
while the rest of the guys pretend the newbie's hallucinating.

AJ wasn't nessisarily worried about himself. Most of us

if there ought to be defined qualities that let one gain
access to this place. But I'd probably get bounced then.]<<<<<

>>>>>[Highlander, where have you been? Ganz has appeared a couple of times
already, threatening everyone with scoops of information. He's a rep of
the outfit that apparently created William 6174 and is trying to keep
word from spreasding about whatever we learn about him.

I'll agree, that iteration of deeds isn't prima facie damning of Jack. But I
think Ganz was hinting at some other things. . .Believe me, Jack's got some
parts of his history that should stay in the dark, just like the rest of
us.

As for tracking Ganz, good luck. I tried it a couple of times and almost
got brain-fried. I think Ouro attempted it but it was a bum trace. Apparently
he had a passive connection to this node fore monitoring that went off if a
message was sent directly to him. Well, someone did, and I think he is a
little more careful of his connections now. And don't think sysadmin will
help; it's been my experience that those nefarious deckers who operate
shadow nodes try to stay away from sides, in order not to gain any new
enemies.]<<<<<
