it's classy as hell. Of course the natives of the first village I found
didn't agree with the last bit, but I persuaded them I was dying of the
cold, which they believed (hell, I believe it too... I might well have
died if I hadn't found the mermaid), so they let it go. Thank the matrix
gods, they've got a connection, so I can hook myself up with some
datawork easily enough. I think I'll be a yachtsman, lost at sea. That
should get me back to Seattle. I hope you're right about your CIA
Johnson not knowing of my existence.

For your own particular problems... "Parker" used to be a shell account
for CIA spooks to use. Nicely anonymous. You used to use a Parker pen to
write with on paper, you use "Parker" to post to ShadowTK, right? It got
binned around 2050 or so when too many folks got wise to it. Nobody of
importance in the CIA would use "Parker", it still shrieks 'spook'. Like
posting to Shadowland as "Mr Johnson" and wondering why folks take you
less than seriously...)

On the other hand, enough time's gone by that some smartass or someone
trying to play misdirection, would go for it. Or maybe it's just some
clueless newbie (yeah, right).

The deckspecs and Matrix traces all point at the Fast Response Action
Group, a bunch of simsense commandos I have an ongoing argument with. So
do the reports coming out of NZ about a recent excursion by a bunch of
foreign gunbunnies. The Kiwis may not have a lot of long-range military
muscle, but they _are_ good at watching their own backyard,


Nobody's looking for you here in the UCAS that I can find. Immigration
don't know who you are as far as their watch-list of suspicious types
goes, CIA and FBI still have you flagged as "generally a dangerous dude
but on _our_ side_ and amenable to reason" - can't think who might have
done _that_ <g> - and to the best of my knowledge, which is severely
imperfect, even FRAG aren't gunning for you.

Yet.

How are your transportation and smuggling credentials? I could do with

For pickup... there'll be keys for the lockup garage, included with the
payment for the shipment. Just truck it to 'Your Self Storage', find the
right garage, drop it off, and chuck the key in a recycler. I've got the
originals and I'll pick the kit up when I need it.

Or, keep the key. Check the place six months later if you don't hear
anything (the place is leased for a year but I don't want to gamble too
much on the owner's avarice). It'll mean I'm dead and you can sell the
shipment, pocket the profit, and raise a glass to my memory out of the
proceeds.

the rodent backs it up with proof. However, we have the complete
