Drake didn't miss, on the roof. We got her on board and headed for a
hospital, but she didn't make it. She already had a broken arm, and was shot at
least three times while in Dante's place; twice by Claw while he was posessed,
and once by the police sniper. There was just too much trauma for rudimentary
first aid to deal with, and I never learned healing magick.
We're still in Chicago, trying to decide what to do next. The dropship
was damaged by return fire from Intrpol and Eagle Security, so we aren't going
anywhere soon in any case. In the meantime, we've made arrangements to have
Raven's body shipped home to Japan. I'm told she does have family there, and
they'll see to whatever arrangements are proper.
As for myself, I ask the forgiveness of all my friends for my sudden
disappearence from the shadow community. It was not Dante's doing, as some
feared; I was once again called to Tara, and the summons was one I could not
ignore. I feel that my wyrd is upon me, and although I don't think I will ever
be recalled to Tara again, I also doubt I will be returning here. So I guess
this is goodbye. I want to thank everyone, but especially Spirit, Circuit
Breaker, Cerise, Brandywine, and the others who dragged me, kicking and
screaming *smile*, on the Girl's Night Out last year. My life was very...
bleak, before that night. And frau Doom, you have all my hope and sympathy.
It was a lovely waltz...
Commander Drake: Raven made me swear an oath to leave you alone. You have
nothing to fear from me or my clan. Go in peace.
Goodbye everyone.]<<<<<

condolences Cat Dancing.
As an aside, does anyone know a _good_, _cheap_, _reliable_
street doc? Some shrapnel from one of those explosions caught
one of my cybereyes. It's a real pain being able to see out of
only one eye, and that one fading in and out.]<<<<<

Oh, and for those of ya who wonder, Spirit is ok and should be replying ta ya
all by tomorrow. The black IC toasted her deck and knocked her for a loop, but
she is mostly unhurt now.]<<<<<

away
that easily from us. Once a friend, always a friend. As of yet, the boys
haven't come back from Chicago, but they should be back soon. But when ya and
them get back, we are planning ta haveing a small reunion of sorts. Too many of
our friends have been dying and Ah for one don't like that. So Ah plan on
seeing everyone again, and making sure they enjoy themselves a little atleast.
Yes, Ah know we will all probably be a little somber and talk about the people
who have gone, but we can also talk about things ta come. Well enough, of this,
Spirit needs help changing diapers]<<<<<

I really miss him.

Cat Dancing I am sorry to see you go even though I have never personally met
you, it is hard to lose someone that you consider a friend. I know SW will
miss you greatly, seeing that you two have worked together. You will be missed
and if you are ever back in seattle, you are always welcome at our humble
abode.

Raven, you will be greatly missed. from what I understand you were a great
runner, and were a close friend to many people. Everyone that knew you or knew
of you will remember you and will miss you]<<<<<
