>>>>>[ Drek. I still have to get Whirlwind's arrival into this
journal. Oh well. That's for another brief moment in time.

Presently, I give you Midnight in action: (Well ... sort of in action
..)

+++++ begin audio excerpt

Famine: Posting to s-land, done sir. The enemy knows for sure that I
still live.

Midnight: The clock starts ticking again. Here's what we are going to
do. Famine, War, and FireWraith -- go to New Orleans and find out what
you can about what actually happened around the time of our operation.
You are looking for all the possible info on everyone that was
involved. Hopefully, looking at that angle will give you a little more
time before others take exception to your digging. Obviously, I really
care about what the enemy knows, although it will be useful to know
what other information we had leaked. When you find out as much as
possible, return here. If you feel you are compromised in the search,
scrap that effort and return "home."

+++++ Jester note: (War nods. Famine smirks.)

Whirlwind, take Lurch and debrief Croaker's crew. Cover the whole time
that Croaker has been a part of the Legion. Leave no area uncovered.
I am particularly interested in their Europe work, and I want evidence
to back up all their findings.

Also instruct them that after the debriefing, they are officially on
their own.

+++++ Jester note: (Whirlwind nods, but doesn't look pleased. I'm
behind already ... what can I say? Whirlwind looks like a person
caught between a rock and a difficult situation due to the fact that
Lurch and Whirlwind have history and Lurch reacted poorly to
Whirlwind's arrival here. Midnight was caught off guard, but he dealt
with it quickly. )

Doc and Jester already have your travel arrangements lined up. I
recommend you review them and have them make modifications as you see
fit. Doc and Jester will remain behind here and plan for our next
move.

If you think you need their assistance, contact me and we'll see what
we can do to help out.

One recommendation to all teams. Avoid Pestilence. Until we have
determined his role in what happened on Christmas, his assistance is
suspect at best. At worst, it could get yourselves killed.

If there are no questions, then I would suggest to get moving.

FireWraith: I have one, Midnight. What am I going to add to War and
Famine's efforts?

Midnight: Until we figure out where we stand in regards to current
events, all operations should have magical support. Since Croaker's
crew already knows you, and I wanted to give a different impression to
them, you landed that job instead.

Whirlwind: What sort of impression do you want Croaker's crew to have?

Midnight: That you, being a Legion representative, aren't a one man
army. Depending on who uses Croaker's talents in the future, that will
be an important perception. In no circumstance, should you link me to
your inquiry.

+++++ Jester note: (Whirlwind nods. It is clear he expected something
along these lines.)

Midnight: Unless further questions, dismissed. ]<<<<<
