find, anyway; this is the Mark I version, not the current Mark II release.
There's no construction times given, but hey, you're a decker, you can figure
it out. There's a recognition module built in that apparently locks onto the
deck ID code that's buried in the icon. Even a home-built deck has to have an
ID squirt -- it's just not a registered number. Also, if you check your
manual, you'll find that redoing your icon requires rebuilding your MPCP, so
nobody's going to be changing their icon overnight to dodge this thing.

this thing's icon is a Frenchman done up in one of those Elven-looking outfits
with all the lace and the big feather in the hat, all in red. He walks up to
you and challenges you to a duel. Funny thing is, he'll fight fair; it's
