"Once again, December the Seventh has been marred with violence in
San Fransico. It began early this morning with demonstrations
commemorating the hundred and fourteenth anniversary of the attack on
Pearl Harbor outside the gates of the Imperial Navy's facility in
Alameda.
Japanese security assets attempted to disburse the crowd almost as
soon as it had arrived. Demonstrators and guards quickly began
hurling insults and several guards began using violence to disperse
the demonstrators.
<FOOTAGE OF IMPERIAL MARINES FIRING WATER CANONS AND TASERS INTO THE
CROWD BEFORE WADING IN AND BEATING DEMONSTRATORS WITH STUN BATONS.>
Eyewitnesses report that several Japanese began firing 'stun' rounds
into the crowd. At ranges of less than five meters, 'stun' ammunition
can be quite lethal. Four demonstrators were killed in the opening
volley.
<FOOTAGE OF MARINES LEVELING RIOT SHOTGUNS AT CROWD AND FIRING.
SEVERAL DEMONSTRATORS IN THE FIRST RANK DROP WITH WOUNDS. THE
CROWD ADVANCES INTO THE MARINES.>
In the ensuing violence 15 more demonstrators were killed with
dozens wounded. Japanese public relations states that the Imperial
Marines sustained no injuries, but I-on-the-Marines camera teams
recorded the deaths of at least 3 Marines and numerous injuries after
demonstrators turned seized weapons against the Marines.
<FOOTAGE OF DEMONSTRATORS GRAPPLING WITH MARINES. ONE MARINE,
OBVIOUSLY DEAD FROM THE LOCATION AND SIZE OF HIS WOUNDS IS PASSED
OVER THE HEAD OF THE DEMONSTRATORS AND THROWN INTO THE MARINE RANKS.
TWO ORKS FIRING RIOT SHOTGUNS AT THE MARINE LINES, SEVERAL TAKE
ROUNDS TO THE FACEPLATES, WHICH COLLAPSE. THE STREET IS LITTERED
WITH DEAD AND WOUNDED DEMONSTRATORS AND MARINES.
MARINE APCS ROLLS UP TO GATE AND BEGINS POURING AUTOMATIC WEAPONS FIRE
INTO THE MELEE, WOUNDING BOTH DEMONSTRATORS AND MARINES. MARINE
OFFICER RUNS TO APC AND BEGINS BANGING ON THE HATCH. A CREWMEMBER
POKES HIS HEAD OUT JUST AS A MOLOTOV COCKTAIL FLIES INTO THE AIR.
THE BOMB CRASHES INTO THE CREWMEMBER SPLATTERING HIM WITH BURNING
PETROCHEM. THE BODY SLIDES BACK INTO THE APC. OTHER HATCHES POP
OPEN AS THE REMAINING CREWMEMBERS FLEE THE FIRE, WHICH SOON ENGULFS
THE VEHICLE.>
Marine helicopters began dropping NeuroStun-VII canisters into the
crowd, disabling both demonstrators and unprepared Marines.
<FOOTAGE OF HELICOPTERS BEARING RISING SUN PASSING LOW OVER THE
DEMONSTRATION, WITH CREWMEMBERS DROPPING SMOKING CANISTERS FROM THE
OPEN DOORS. A GREEN CLOUD ENGULFS THE DEMONSTRATORS AND MARINES,
MANY OF WHICH DROP TO THE STREET, CLUTCHING EYES AND THROATS.
SOME DEMONSTRATORS TIE RAGS ACROSS THEIR FACES AND CONTINUE TO BATTLE
WITH MARINES.>
SFPD reports more than a hundred arrests.
Fighting has been sporadic throughout the Bay area. The only
fatalities have occured at the Alameda Massacre.
In related news, a memorial service was held this morning
commemorating others killed during peaceful demonstrations by
Imperial Marines. In an attempt to save face and ease today's
tension, the Imperial Governor unveiled a plaque dedicated to the
memory of the 57 killed during the 2041 riots marking the hundredth
anniversay of the attack on Pearl Harbor."

Its drek like this that really gets me. The Imperial Marines claim
not to have any jurisdiction outside of the gates of Alameda, so
they go and violate California law and commit, assault, murder,
unlawful restraint and get away with it. Those gutless wonders in
Sacremento are responsible and they look the other way. And the damn
megacorps don't help either. You'd think that one of the corps out of
the UCAS, like Ares, would try to kick the damn Nips out. But then,
the fraggin' Jap corporations - Fuchi, just to name one - would back
the Marines with assets and money....
So nobody's got the balls to stand up to the Japs, except crazies like
me. Makes me wonder why I'm still kicking. I guess I will be 'til I
get these bastards out of my town.
