>>>>>[ It has required some time to become re-oriented in ShadowLand...(a
few
weeks such as I have spent can cause this), but there are several individuals
to which I must comment.

Fraulein Jaez: I am quite pleased you have survived your own ordeal, gnaedige
Dame. Hoffentlich, we shall soon be able to reverse this
retreating trend, and once again proceed upon the offensive.

Spirit: Many thanks for your kind words, meine Dame. Further, I must
express my pleasure at your asking after my beloved wife. She
is quite well, and extends her good wishes to the Grid
denizens with whom she is acquainted.

However, now I move to the greater purpose of this communique, Fuerst Solarial.

You have made several claims as to your possession of Honor. I find your
statements to be erroneous. I say to you, were such things the truth, your
behavior would have been categorically different.

I concede the fact that Honor dictates that those who besmirch another's must
be held accountable for such attacks, in the event of such attacks being
groundless. However, you have interpreted this as to necessitate the willful
murder of the Wyrm Orobouros. This is unacceptable! Drawing blood is
generally sufficient, or a demonstration of superiority...but murder? Or, is
it the case, Herr Fuerst, that your Honor is so fragile as to demand death of
all who challenge it?

Moreover, your methods employed towards this end were deplorable! Rather than
face your opponent as a honorable man and present your accusations that you were
unjustly wronged by him, you rather applied subterfuge and base emotional
manipulation via implied threat to achieve your (supposedly) honorable desires.

To what do I refer? Kidnaping. Extortion. These are not the acts of a
honorable man. You then compounded this with the almost juvenile delight in
which you took toying with Diana's life. Should your memory be so short:
Recall you the poisoned glass?

You used Diana's associates like tools, invigorating and cajoling them with the
threat of ills befalling their captive associate. In short, you USED them to
perform a duty to which you yourself should have tended. Although you chose
the easier route, rather than dirty your lily-white hands with the affair, did
you not?

Although those hands are now stained with a fallen warrior's blood, nicht wahr?
The blood was that of a father whose only concern was ensuring his daughter's
safety, whose safety you threatened to imperil only for the purpose of enacting
your own revenge.

Furthermore, as though what has already transpired were insufficient, you
sought to force a young woman outside of your society into marriage with you.
You claim you love her. Truly, were this so, you would not have endeavored to
forcibly compel her into marriage--you would simply have asked her. Were she
to reply in the negative, you would have accepted it...although such a setback
would naturally not bar you from attempting again. Perseverance is not
detrimental to Honor. However, you decided on the decidedly more rigorous,
and consequently less honorable, path.

Understand this, Herr Fuerst: I am not a commoner. I, too, am of noble blood,
the pedigree of which runs far back into the past. Consequently, I am quite
familiar with the requirements and demands that being among the aristocracy
entails. Yet, even speaking from this knowledge, I am unable to accept your
rather flimsy rationalization of your actions. I have performed many, many
acts for God, for Family, for Empire...none of them are so fraught with moral
turpitude as that which you seek to exonerate yourself of now. For honorable
acts there is always an honorable way, and this situation does not match either
of the essential criteria.

Understand, my purpose here is not to offer any claims or threats as to
marshaling forth retribution upon your head--the situation does not concern
me. However, do not have any illusions that your actions are in the least bit
justified. ]<<<<<
