I have other interests, and another career, which are still quite active)
Presently, I maintain a residence in the Seattle area, although my home is in
Europe; if you shall be attending the festivities, I could discuss such
matters with you then--between dancing with various young ladies and conversing
with Brandywine (I have not forgotten), Dark Elf, Nightstalker, Highlander,
et cetera.
(Circumstances are such that I may develop the need to acquire a social
calendar. I have not experienced being so widely sought after since my young
days in the Imperial Court, where all the young noblewomen were chasing after
me...A bizarre situation, by all accounts--it defies my comprehension.)
Herr Cypher, it is my view that you misunderstand the motivations of my words.
I do not possess a broad-spectrum predilection against or hatred of all
corporate employees, or all corporations. Such prejudices would limit one's
powers of perception and observation of others, and make one sorrowfully
narrow-minded.
HOWEVER, this may come as rather shocking, but you shall find such sentiments
not at all uncommon among veteran shadowrunners. I, myself, have been
involved in NUMEROUS corporate conflicts, where my very life was in peril. I
have quite legitimate reasons for my distrust of corporations. For me, as a
noble and as an experienced shadowrunner, it should therefore come as no
surprise that I resent the implication that I am an instrument of corporate
