*****Private: Johnson, BIGHORN, Solonus, Bruce, RedWing
>>>>>[Hey guys. Here's something I just picked up...it's the log of the
run Johnson made with RedWing. I thought you might be slightly
interested in seeing it, at least...but, please, delete it when you're
done. We don't want any more copies of it.

I'll have a copy of the matrix transcript later, along with whatever I
can dig up on the other run...

And Bighorn, I'm still looking for information. It looks good. Sorry
about the absense, I needed a rest...

+++++Begin Video Log

The scene is a corporate facility, probably Yamatetsu, from the
inside. It looks as if the camera has just been switched on. On the
floor is a body, and above the body stand several people on various
uniforms. One, a human, looks slightly winded, while the rest seem
almost bored. They consist of what look like two dwarves and three
orks, but they are all badly disguised.

"Come on, Johnson, you can do a little better than that," says
one of the orks, a male Street Samurai. "Why didn't you kill the guy?"

"I'm not killing if we don't need to, Ogrek. It's not worth
the effort," replies the human, looking around. "It also keeps out the
security alerts when the guards just drop like that. We shouldn't have
the guards jumping down on us from all directions now."

"And when he wakes up?" asks a female ork, amazingly uncybered.

"He won't until we're gone. He still won't know what happened.
Don't worry about it, Rex," assures Johnson.

"Alright. Let's get moving," comments a dwarf from the back.
The others all seem to comply quickly.

The human pulls out what looks like a wristphone. He presses a
button on it, and a voice comes from it.

"What's happening?"

"We're alright," says Johnson into the phone. He looks around
quickly, and then goes back to the phone. "We just stunned a guard
here, but I don't see any security breaches. Now, where's the man?" He
covers the mouthpiece, and the camera doesn't seem able to pick up any
of the sound.

Johnson shuts off the phone. "Alright, we're going this way.
According to Quickling, all's clear...and the guy's set himself up in a
room a few doors down. Let's move."

They all move down the hall, into the distance. They seem to
open a door up in the distance. The camera view fades out, and another
appears. This scene seems to be just out of the door that was just
opened.

"Alright, Hack's supposed to be down this corridor," comments
Johnson, "so let's move."

The team all carefully walks down the hall, Narcojet weapons in
the hands of most.

Suddenly, there is a gunshot. Shorty, the dwarf, falls to the
sudden gunshot to the back. All turn around. Directly in front of the
camera falls a body, as the team fires their guns (not all with
Narcojets) at the gunman. For the time, video is lost. As for the
audio, most of what can be heard is gunshots.

Johnson: "Frag! Quickling, what the hell is going on?"

Rex: "Johnson, I count four, no five guards still up, this isn't
going to be easy!"

Ogrek: "Then let's kill 'em!" <Sounds of gunfire>

Johnson: "Alright, everyone down! Head for some cover!"

Female Ork: "I'm going in."

Male Dwarf: "Harper, watch yourself." <More gunfire,
interspersed with the rest. There is a scream.>

Rex: "I'm hit!"

Harper: "Frag! RedWing, help us out here!"

RedWing: "I'm doing my best!" <More gunfire>

Johnson (shouting): "DOWN!!!" <There is an explosion>

The camera goes off-line with a sudden burst of fire. Another
comes on line from a better angle. There is now a view of the hallway,
although at a slightly different timeframe: near where the old camera
was located are the bodies of four security guards, and further up are
the bodies of two more. Also littering the floor are the bodies of some
of the team: Shorty lies dead up the hall, Ogrek is shot by about 6
gunshots, and Rex is scorched beyond recognition on the ground. RedWing
is hit in the arm, Harper in the leg, and Johnson is somehow uninjured.

Johnson again speaks into the microphone. "Quickling, what the
HELL happened? We lost 3 people here, Shorty, Rex, and Ogrek...RedWign
and Harper are wounded. What the frag happened?" He covers the sound
end again, and so the camera receives nothing, but it sounds bad.

"Alright, you two, we're all that's left. I'm sorry. But we
need to do this. Hack should be just down the hall, it should be
safe...apparently, he's even come down this way on his own. Quickling
is keeping teh security away. Now, there should be some personal guards
in there...take them out CAREFULLY. Now, let's MOVE!"

They all move down the hall. Again, the camera changes. This
time, the view is in a room far down the hall. Inside are two guards
around a decker, who is currently jacked in. Suddenly, the door opens,
and the guards spin towards it...

Johnson, Harper, and RedWing all open fire on the first of the
guards. He goes down easily, and the second guard tries to fire back.

The decker suddenly stabs the bodyguard in the back, and the
guard spins. RedWing and Harper both open fire: the second guard goes
down.

"Hack?" Johnson asks.

"Yes." says the decker.

"We're getting out of here. Where's your stuff."

"Good. It's here." He taps his head.

"Then lets go. Here, take this, it'll make you invisible".

The decker takes the charm, and Johnson makes a gesture. The
decker disappears from view.

"Alright. Let's move," Johnson says quickly. The bunch leave.
On the way, the camera shuts off automatically.

+++++End Video Log

Yes, it was disturbing. Don't tell ANYONE about Hack, by the
way, it's likely to get you killed.

I'm deleting my copy. I recommend that the rest of you do the
same.

Talk to you later, especially you, Bighorn...and I'll have the rest of
the tapes and such done soon.]<<<<<
