>>>>>[After three weeks of repairing bugs, we have finally got to the point
where we can again begin to bring Masque out of sedation. But we're going to
take it very slowly after Collussus found that error. It was very similar to
one that caused him to go temporarily insane, and it would have had very
similar effects on Masque.

While we were looking, we also found some minor problems in his joints that
would have caused stress fractures under extreme use. And the improper
digestive coding would have caused his artificial intestine to secrete pure
nitric acid instead of a balanced combination of sulphuric, nitric, and
hydrochloric. That was a shock indeed; if left too long it would have corroded
Masque's entire digestive system. But that's all fixed now. We should only
find a few more minor bugs as we begin the dynamic testing of the body. I feel
85% certain that we have discovered and remedied all the potentials for
catastrophic failure.

I've called Collussus. Moriarity said that Central won't need him for a while,
what with the new security system he was supervising the installation of over
these past weeks. He can be here whenever you are ready to finally bring
Masque out of the alpha wave induced coma. We are letting him off the drugs
gradually, letting his brain readapt to their not being there, but that will
be finished within the next 24 to 36 hours. Will this be sufficient for you
to get here? Schedule wise, I mean. Collussus can be here in 3 hours, so
that's the only notice I need.]<<<<<
