>>>>>[Greetings.

I wish I could tell you that I have both good news and bad news, but,
unfortunately, I have only bad news at this point. The investigation has
been shut down and my funding through Lone Star cut. We've had no leads
in over a month and, well, that is usually longer than we stay on a case
anyway.

The ritual sample we managed to get from the last crime scene ended up being
tampered with in some way and was rendered useless. IA is investigating
but I believe it will come down to "Improper Handling of Evidence" and a
slap on the wrist for the field Op who did it.

Im sorry.]<<<<<

I figure you'd turn me down anyway so, how about dinner tonight? There is a
new place opening up in up-town and I dont have a date. I've arranged for
NB to be a bit too busy tonight to join us.]<<<<<

>>>>>[Drek. Same at my end. Well, not so much funding, as a lack of
information. On the other hand, I've come up with about 20 pulses of brown
haired couples... I'm in the process of weeding out duplicates.

Keep me informed if anything happens.]<<<<<
