So, we've managed to run down that last message that appears to have been from
Haze. Another physical telco penetration, no witnesses, all that. I know
this is getting pretty out of our normal line of work, but I arranged for
some thorough forensics anyway. With all this damn rain it's been hell, and
we didn't get much for our efforts. No prints, no tissue samples. We _are_
working up a pattern on _how_ he's breaking into the units, but there's only
so many ways one can crack those open anyway.

Seeing as how this guy managed to get himself onto the _FBI_'s shitlist, I'm
thinking that we might want to recall Cthulu and wait for another opportunity.
We've already gathered some metadata on how efficiently it operates and how
well it does in combat. When Black Spiral from Shadowland decided to go out
and joust with it it forced him to retreat all the way back to the sigma ring
before we pulled the plug to avoid tracing. *I* was intimidated, and I thought
I knew how the thing would handle.... Anyway, we can discuss the possible
refinements once MicroJohn and Impressario are done mining the engagement
traces.

Shit. I suppose you're right...we do have the safety of the whole operation
to look out for. Well, he'll get his sooner or later. I think I'll see if I
can't pass along the information we've gotten so far, after a bit of suitable
editing to protect the innocent *smirk* and see if the G-Men can't get some
mileage out of it.
