As for my s/o, I don't want to have to explain to her something like how I
could afford a nice dinner at a swank restaurant. She thinks I have a few
friends on the other side of the law who help me dig up stuff for my
dayjob. I don't want her knowing I actually do some less than legal stuff
myself to keep my bills paid. I'm sure she's got a hunch though. Cops
tend to do that, even if they are only a 'trix bunnies. Don't worry. She
saw that it was the CoT stuff that I pulled, thought I was trying to be
her knight in electron armor, and has only relegated me to the couch for
the next month or so (well, if I'm at her place), rather than turn me in.
Suffice to say, no long term harm done.

On second thought, send the cash equivalent. There's always birthdays,
etc. for a good chance to make up.]<<<<<
