Cerise I hope you enjoyed your meal at the space needle unfortunately I
had to leave the very next day when a contact said an old enemy was in town
looking for me, and when you're half way up the side of a mountain you sort of
lose all matrix access. Fortunately for me the false trail I leave whenever I
have to go underground took care of him and I last heard that he was enroute
to Bangalore. Unfortunately due to my lack of access I have been unable to
thank you for a most interesting evening. It is always good to widen your
circle of friends, especially if those friends are of the fairer sex.

Gallagher wasn't really all that powerful, but he had conjured a mean
elemental and fighting it left me a little reduced in spite of my clear
superiority.

As Warlock was saying we(he) had a little problem getting out and as
a last resort he triggered the explosive charges left by Jacamus and
Morgue. A positively suicidal move for a human such as he. Well, as he
didn't see fit to warn me, and I was protecting him at the time, I
naturally caught the brunt of the explosion head on with the forseeable
effect that my manifest form was disrupted and my essence scattered across
the metaplanes. ((Warlock: If you are reading this: I consider you to owe
me, big time, for this. I did not hire on to provide you with protection
from your own suicidal tendencies.))

Fortunately I was able to draw on the current disturbance in the metaplanes
(I hope you all remember the mana spike in Germany some time back? Well,
the disturbance on the prime reflects downwards through the metaplanes.)
and I could restructure my manifest form somewhat earlier than expected.

The incident is not completely without redeeming features though, I have
grown considerably in my understanding of the metaplanes (but the price!!).

Well, Warlock, please get in touch if you read this. I will, of course,
be expecting the agreed upon payment. ]<<<<<
