Apparently Quention's goons had them trapped in an alley, and were getting
ready to toss some concussion grenades when we spotted them. Cowboy had taken
out two of the six goons with his shotgun, leaving a nice bloody mess for me to
skid on, so I gunned the engine and keyed the brakes about 2 meters behind
them, catching them with the broadside of the van and scattering them. I
dropped the back ramp, letting Jake and Napalm out to clean up the mess. Jake
and Cowboy set up a nasty crossfire of AK-97 and Shotgun slugs that ripped
another two to shreds. Napalm pointed one of his wands at the nearest goon
and, well, he sorta spontaneously combusted. The last goon started to rabbit
so I hit the gas to chase him down when Sarge picked up one of the H&K's the
goons dropped and emptied the clip into him. That's when one of the wounded
goons got back up and gave Jake a belly full of lead (Jake's OK, body armor
stopped most of it, but it made him real mad). Jake started growling curses in
CitySpeak and popped his spurs. Jake was about to give the guy's organs some
ventilation when Harry the fire elemental manifested behind the guy and, well
it's hard to describe what happens when a being made of fire tries to swallow
a person.

We piled back in the van, and after a trip to the car wash to get rid of the
bloodstains we buzzed over to our little hiding spot. ]<<<<<
