Late last night, Prince K. P. Lee was killed in a shootout at his fortified
palace near the Thai border. Survivors indicated that the attackers
appeared to be mercenaries working for an unnamed competing Prince with
whom Prince Lee had been having an increasing number of armed skirmishes
over the past several weeks. Mercenaries have been used by all sides of
the, until recently, relatively quiet conflicts in the Myanmar region.
Supporters of Prince Lee's claim to leadership of the Myanmar region have
named their fallen leader's son, Pot Poh Lee, as thier new leader. P. Lee
has indicated that he would personally see to the destruction of his
fathers murderers as well as thier whole families.
Orders of military hardware to be transported to the Myanmar region are
rumored to have increased by over 150% in the last 96 hours according to
several unnamed sources inside various corporations including Ares,
Aztechnology, Saeder-Krupp, Maxim, and Mitsuhama.
