Your powers of regeneration are impressive. However, you are NOT
immortal. You will not age, you will not get sick, you cannot be
poisoned. However, if you fall from a building, you will still die. If
you get your head removed from your neck, old 2D "Highlander" movie
style, you will die. If you have massive tissue damage from acid, or
fire, or being crushed, or too many other things I can't mention, you
will still die.
Don't go around thinking that you are the shit. Before I had cyberware
and bioware implanted, you regenerated no better than I. Now....well, it
was a trade off. The beings you match up with....most of them can still
eat you for lunch, some literally.
As I said, you're not a vampire. I tested you for all the known HMHVV
strains, and nothing came up. Your white blood count is so high that I
can't believe that your ever going to get sick again. And, while I
didn't tell you this, I did feed you some arsenic. Not enough to kill,
but enough to tell if you were immune. You are definatly immune to
Arsenic, but as for other poisons.... I'll leave that to you to discover
on your own.
I still would like to examine you astrally, but as we were alone and I am
not a magician, that was impossible even before you voiced objections.
A little more on your regeneration: Don't go and cut off arms, fingers,
etc. It will heal, but the new digit takes weeks, sometimes months, to
grow. And naturally, if you had cyber in that limb, it's gone too. And
the new limb is never exactly the same as the old.
Don't try to get cyber or bioware implanted. Your body will accept
what's there, but it'll keep on healing itself before the new gets a
chance to settle in. The only way I got around that was a custom, DNA
tailored drug that also bypassed my immunity to poisons while suppressing
my healing process. Your body won't behave the same, and it would take
months, perhaps years, to duplicate the effects.
Be careful, Marksanspensah. Don't let your feelings of power and
immortality go to your head. You'll only get yourself in more trouble
than you can imagine.]<<<<
