Nope, it was the bloody Japanese. They finally decided to get rid of
me once and for all. They tried to slip me a Black-beetle and that
way they could get me out of the way AND discredit me. I mean just
look at what happened. I step out and they raid my offices. Only
with effective use of firepower did my people stop them. Sure, they
blew up our offices doing it, but I forgive 'em. Then the Japs start
tryin' to off me in the hospital - didn't work. Then they start
trying to hunt down my people. Yep, I don't believe in coincidences.

Time to dust off the Metahuman Action Committee. Hell, they've been
sayin' I lead it anyway. Won't it be a shock to 'em when the
scapegoat they created suddenly reaches up an' bites 'em in the
