You see a casually dressed girl, wearing sunglasses, gets into the
van. She is followed by an equally casually dressed dwarf. The dwarf
reaches into a bag and hands a special headset to the girl. The girl
gets into the driver seat, and starts putting on the headset. When it
is completely on, it is pretty hard to even see where the headset is.
The only obvious fact is the wired for communications is where the
headset plugs in behind her ear. She quickly plugs a thick datajack
into her head (right above the other jack) and plugs into the
dashboard. The van comes to life. The dwarf fiddles with a
sophisticated consol in the back. He quickly hands out headsets to
all who enter his van: Whirlwind, Doomsday, Quinn, and FireWraith.
(All of which are in full urban camouflage.)

FireWraith looks at the headset and says, "I might have some trouble
with this. If I go astral, it will be left behind. If I go in
astral in middle of the inside, then I drop the headset and the enemy
can pick it up."

Doc looks thoughtful and then says, "This is going to suck, but don't
take the headsets in then. I don't really want to risk compromising
our communication network."

Whirlwind's only comment is this: "That does suck. We should make
every effort to stay together. FireWraith will do her usual in and
out of astral space as needed. We are small in numbers so we will
have to do our best to make us seem larger than usual."

He pauses and says, "Once we get word that Alpha Team is in,
FireWraith it might be useful to astral sweep the bottom floor. I
don't want to set off any alarms until someone on the inside gets in
trouble, but it might be a quick way to get determine if and where
there are any prisoners. It might also tell us who the prisoners
are. Once you get back, assuming we haven't been called in, you will
tell your findings to everyone. If we have already gone in, you
should still do that, but then go back in as well." FireWraith nods.

Whirlwind continues, "It seems doubtful to me, that they will have
more than a couple of mages on site, if that. In which case, between
Alpha Team and Death's squad they will probably have already
attracted all or most of the magical guardian attentions. It's our
one advantage. Let's keep that in mind when we go in. If you have
to choose between a mundane and an active, choose the active. Better
to bring those down quickly so that we can keep our advantage. Of
course, that assumes you can quickly tell." He shrugs.

Main line - Puppet: *Entrance 6 is hot. Death's team is fiddling
with the elevator F. Death's team is in full camouflage'd combat
armor. Repeat full armor. Security seems to be using form fitting
armor.*

[5 second pause]

Main line - Doc: *Interesting. Death's team is wearing same
camouflage pattern that Midnight, Whirlwind, and Doomsday are
wearing. You guys buy from the same dealer?*

Main line - Midnight: *FUCK! Be very careful around Death's team.
He _is_ using part of the Legion as backup.*

Whirlwind smiles at Doomsday and says, "You owe me 10."

Doomdsay nods solemnly and says, "It's not like he didn' predict it,
eider."

Main line - Midnight says, *The mission is green. I repeat, the
mission is green. ETA 10 seconds* ]<<<<<
