I believe be pleased with those bills of ours. But then she did agree to pay
medical expenses, n'est pas :)
I've been doing some thinking about this case and decided it's time we sorted
out what we do know and what we don't. We still don't seem to be any closer
to finding the mysterious Monsieur Beaumont.
To summarize, if I can.
Miss Miranda Lees conatcts Powerhouse with the offer of a job. Powerhouse
can't take it even though I am intrested, after all I saw the stunning vision
of the lady on the com, instead you take it and I join up with you.
Miss Lees gives us information on David Beaumont. She says that she wants us
to find him and bring him back to her. Her motives appear twofold she is
apparently enamoured with David and he has important information which will
help the organisation for which she works for (The Metatype Front). Apart
from that she gives us very little information only confiming some of the
things that we found along the way.
We check out Beaumont's house and find evidence that he sported several partners
at once, quite often literally, though we uncovered no pictures of Miss Lees
here. On being confronted with the pictures Miss Lees abondons any relationship
she may have had with Beaumont but still wants the information that would help
her organisation so much.
We contact his brother and are shown Beaumont's car, it was covered with
strange scratch marks and in general bad repair. Before we got chance to
examine the car though we were attacked by a group of gangers who appeared to
be looking for something in the car. The diary we found prehaps ? You
identified the gangers as belonging to the Tacoma Headsplitters a relatively
new group. The only information we have on them is from Sgt Jackson which
links them to an organisation called the Defacers and The Universal Brotherhood.
On checking out these links we discover that a sizeable number of the Tacoma
Headsplitters are members of one of the Tacoma branches of the UB which is
why they came to the aid of the UB when it came under attack once. They also
have strong links with the Defacers which appears to be a policlub of some sort.
I beleive Sgt Jackson mentioned that they damage things so as to destroy their
material value and that we are all under threat of some vast plot whereby
bright shiny new objects are made to take over our minds. Complete nonsense
of course but appart from their rather strange philosophy the Defacers seem
harmless made up of middle aged men and women who have completely lost their
way in life. I did hear that a sizeable number of the Defacers have recently
been joining up with the UB, this is possibly due to the Tacoma Headsplitter's
influence.
What do we know about Beaumont. Well we know that the police orginally seemed
to believe the suicide theory, indeed some facts seemed to support this idea
but too many other things seemed to suggest that Beaumont was not the sort
about to commit suicide. We know that he was sacked from his job and that
from his diary it could have been something to do with his involvement with
the girl Jenny who used to work at Agrigen. We know that he was worried about
what was at the farm and that he intended to destroy it (see his list), it
probably just sent him insane though if he saw the spirit's manifest form.
Since Beaumont left the farm we have no clue as to where he might have gone.
All we know was that his car was found by a cliffface in Ruston, Tacoma.
We now have this problem of the toxic spirits, I do not think Daehyon Kim was
anything to do with their summoning in fact it's quite possible he didn't
even know that there was a spirit inhabiting that creation of his. I would
look towards the last page of his log that we found in the laboratory in the
farm that mentioned a Dr, Dr Megson I think. The name does not seem familiar
though. I would hazard a guess though that it's this Dr Megson who is the
toxic shaman but what he has to do with Beaumont I have no idea. There is
also the mention in Kim's log about cars coming and going during the night, it
could be that he had an accomplace.
Well I don't know about you but after that last toxic I'd rather stay well
away from this Dr Megson or whoever he might be. I fancy we present all this
information to Miss Lees tonight and see if she has any ideas. I'll see you
