>>>>>[ OK, it seems like we have several players ready to help increase
the
system load on MONICAs host. Any more takers? Let me know, we'll need a few
more players for this to work well. Once the game is installed and running,
we'll need to have someone there directly to help protect the game driver from
the Yoshida deckers at all times (don't forget to call for help if you need it,
face it, heroics get you slagged.). This should also draw a number of corp
deckers off the chase. Of course they'll be after the game program, but I
think we have the talent to hold them off long enough to convince MONICA to
change her ways, or destroy her. (She is an intelligent life form, so I hope
she'll listen to reason once she's crippled, I'd hate to ruin such a masterful
work of programming art) Anyway, the sooner the game starts the better, I'm
looking for a startup time in the next 48 hrs. ]<<<<<

>>>>>[ Damm barrier, I can't get through! If Jake's aboard the Intrepid,
he's
in the barrier along with whatever is causing that massive background count.
I'll wager that it's not too safe in there, astrally or physically! ]<<<<<

>>>>>[ Hmmm, I haven't had any contact with Quention, but from what I
know
about him, he's somewhat different than Harada. Harada has had quite different
experiences in his few years of existence. I can at least respect him, he's
the product of forces beyond his control, and is trying to break free from them
while Quention is just a fragging devious corp scum who uses his background
with the army for his personal gain. ]<<<<<

>>>>>[ Your reasoning is sound. I suspect theat there will be some
elements
in their respective auras that will be similar, but I believe that personality
is primarily developed from experience starting from a base pattern. Their
broadest aural patterns would be similar, but the specifics, and the most
obvious features would be quite different. ]<<<<<
---Napalm <14:38:54/02-15-54>

>>>>>[ Hey, RUFUS was also "made" by MagnaTech, maybe his
personality is based
on Quention's too. ]<<<<<
---OddBall <14:39:51/02-15-54>

>>>>>[ I've been thinking about that. The only problem is, I can't
determine
his personality from his run-time code. He'd have to be given a whole battery
of personality tests, and the results would have to be compared against similar
tests given to Quention and Harada by an expert in psychology. I can't use the
brain mapping gear on RUFUS, since his brain is a self-altering dynamic program
construct (forgive me RUFUS but analyzing you in a technical manner is the only
way I know to figure this out, no offense meant). If I can find a good biotech
that I can trust, and if Tommy will agree, maybe we can set up a comparison.
Maybe then we can determine just how much he and Quention are alike. ]<<<<<

>>>>>[ How are you going to get data from Quention to compare to if we
don't
have a clue where he is? ]<<<<<
---OddBall <14:47:06/02-15-54>

>>>>>[ Unless the virus got it, there must be a record of Quention's brain
map
from the original project somewhere, unless the tapeworm got it. But I suspect
that Quention would be too egotistical or too careful to put it somewhere that
was vulnerable. Hell, it wasn't even with the clone lab data files where it
would logically be. ]<<<<<

>>>>>[ I think we should go after Jake! We should start with the
Intrepid!
teach that Dragon to mess with our friends! ]<<<<<
---OddBall <14:50:52/02-15-54>

>>>>>[ That wouldn't be wise, that's probably exactly what Tirandor
expects
us to do! Assuming he's there of course. Quention would do the same thing.
They're using Jake to get us or... ]<<<<<
---Napalm <14:52:49/02-15-54>

>>>>>[ THE CLONE LAB!!!! How could I be so blind! Of course they'll try
to
get it back, it was the core of their original experiment. Besides, Tirandor
still wants it! There has got to be some connection between Tommy and RUFUS,
I'm sure of it! MagnaTech created Harada in Quention's image, then they
created RUFUS in Quention's image!!!!!! ]<<<<<

>>>>>[ It was worth leaving her among the breathing to see the look
on her face as she realized that my trail was a complete fake. She
knew she was a dead woman and that I let her go this time. I think
she was already fearful that apart from two motorcycle skids, I
survived her hog's miniguns just fine. Oh, sure, I need to replace
my duster and repair my bike, but still...

Her fear means I have already won the next confrontation, because I
don't intend to let her have the advantage over me again. Her
survival was her warning shot -- next time we meet, she will be dead,
and I'll have a new toy bike. ]<<<<<

>>>>>[ We move in pairs now. If you see the rigger, neutralize her.
If you see more people looking for us, then report in before moving.
If they want to play with us, we will show them what it means to play
with Death.

Here are your new orders: Instead of observing the camp, we are going
to move again. We will prepare our counter-strike there.

For the record, I suspect we have at least one other group hunting
us, and they are aware of War's tendency to visit Churches. Our only
churches visits from here on out until things calm down is to lure
the enemy into attacking us. Since they are after War, we shall use
him as the bait. ]<<<<<
