SUBJ: Airport Incident

Sir,

SWAT 3 resolved the hostage situation at Renton Airport. I recommend to
keep the news-ban until the way of intrusion is solved by IdentSec.

Attached is the report of most important events for evaluation,
complete reports are at LSS-5901-00352-SWAT031.

Tactical situation:
The first officers at CS were Off. Freedcam and Sgt. Kane from Street
Patrol, who took over the situation from SafeGuard Security. By this
time, the suspect (identified as Jane London, reported missing three
months ago, so far assumed dead, see LSS-5810-7902-DINV723) had
retreated in the VIP bar after failing to enter the tower building.

London had barricaded the only doors, and spray-painted the two
windows, effecivly sealing off the bar. The number of civilians in the
room remained unknown.

Sgt. Kane immediately ordered to seal off the area, including the
adjacent runway, using SafeGuard Security personnel, and requested
backup. SWAT Team Delta arrived at 16:41, 12 minutes after activation,
on the local helipad.

Immediate Action:
Flight activity was resumed on most runways, to reduce news attention
and -presence at CS. SWAT members took strategic position around the VIP
lounge, and air ducts and maintanance corridors were sealed off by
drones.

Countermeasurements:
Thermographic vision shows twelve potential targets within the lounge.
As this location seems to be secondary target for London it is safe to
assume she is alone. Snipers are set up to cover any potential target
until London can be identified.

Contact:
At 16:58, London established contact, using one of the hostages'
cellular phone. The call is directed at the HQ, and routed to PsychDiv.
Lt. Fuentes contacted us, and was tele-present via Matrix contact
through the whole operation.

London demands one Lt. Jason Running Wolf Lynch is handed over, "to
answer for the murder on Jason Goldsmith". Lynch is not part of LSS, and
contact to governmental agencies have not been cleared yet by
headquarters.

Lt. Fuentes' analysis shows London is unmovable in her demand, to a
level that indicates magical influencs, brainwashing, or long-term
indoctrination. He assumes London is a potential suicide candidate.

Fuentes tries to negotiate London into submission for two full hours.
This is handicapped by London's unwillingness to talk on phone other
then through a hostage, and constant repeating of her demands. She
claims to be a member of "Children of Thunda" (see LSS-GDBS-58-
092145-COT). At 19:08 one hostage was released, and we gained further
data:

+++++Include: Hostages.dat
+++++Include: London1908.dat
+++++Include: Arming.dat

This led to a modified threat level, as London had probably more
explosives with her then priviously assumed. The evacuted area was
enlarged accordingly, but flight activity continued.

Negotiations made it possible to exchange two more hostages for a
firearm. This weapon's smartgun system was rigged to allow no more then
one shot to be fired, and equiped with a radio tracker.

After the exchange, the threat was terminated by sniper fire. Dead by
nine hits in the head area, and three more in the upper torso. Three
hostages were wounded in the attack, one of them severe, none of them is
in danger anymore.

The C12 found on the body came from the same source as used in a
schoolhouse bombing in Pullayup on Nov 23rd, 2057. More data will
follow. ]<<<<<
