and the zoo will be opening for business at 10:00. We may need some sort of
a distraction to keep the zoo from opening. (Picket line? Something
non-destructive?) Jasmine is not looking good. When she climbed into the
pit last night,, she was immediately set upon by three snakes. One bit her
leg, one bit her arm, and one has completely wrapped itself around her neck
and shoulders. We can't even get in to help her, because the "neck" snake
appears to be protecting her.
Arbethril has guaranteed that Jasmine is not in any danger. I don't know
if I believe her or not. At about 8:30 last night, Jasmine's right eye began
to swell like someone had popped her a real shiner. She started bleeding
from her mouth a little. Arbethril checked her over and said she'd bit her
tongue. I guess there was some sort of "astral backlash" that actually took
a physical manifestation on Jasmine's body.
