Before I forget, I want to again thank you for taking the time out of your
busy schedule to meet with me and provide me with a few of your daughter's
personal affects to assist in my investigation. Janine's affects were of
great assistance when looking for clues on the astral plane; indeed, much of
what I have learned has been from clues left there. It's no wonder Lone Star
has been ineffectual; their techniques are from before the Awakening.

Now. Her boyfriend is to share some of the blame; apparently after a
disagreement leaving the club they had gone to, he left her on the side of
the road and proceeded home. That is as far as his blame goes however. I
would ask you not to press him further; I fear he has shouldered far more
blame than he should. He is punishing himself far more than you, or the law,
ever could. It was there, probably while searching for a phone to call you,
that her attackers came upon her.

Your daughter, Janine, was found dead in an abandoned car by some local
children; she had been dead for several days. My apologies Mr. Redding, but
she had been repeatedly and violently violated by at least two individuals.

All the clues, including those I have gathered from the astral, probably
aren't conclusive enough to stand up in a court of law Mr. Redding, but I
suspect that you don't really care at this point. If you came to the
"shadows" for me, I know you'll return there to find someone to extract your
revenge.

I do believe I have several strong leads. I believe your daughter was not
the first to be violated and murdered by these monsters. I also believe that
there is another who has been investigating these crimes who may be able to
help.

The end of this draws near Mr. Redding. I hope that you are prepared for
