only hire the best and I will work toward that end.

Orion is not to be underestimated. He has displayed abilities that I am

and I would imagine if he has any people in place to see who is watching

as he is about us.

This is the deal -- you are the wild card right now. We know nothing at
all about you and you have not yet met with the rest of the team. I would
like to have a meeting with you...say...tomorrow, with everyone else
present. Forgive us for putting through a trial by fire, but, due to
the sensative nature of this job, we need to make sure that a wildcard doesnt
cause us problems. Will this be fine with you?

When and where would you like to meet? I have no problems with that.

My specialities are physical combat, either up close or long range.
You might call me a samurai, except I have fewer qualms. I do undercover
well, but I have the problem of being attractive, Elven, female, and
somewhat quick to respond to unwelcome attentions to any of those. This
may prejudice my chances of working with you, but if it should cause a
problem and screw the run it's my rep (such as it is) in the crapper

female. We, as a group, did not get into a political discussion so I am
unsure of how the others feel about it.

I guess the first point of business would have to be we all feel one another
out again to see if we can work together. After that we can tell you what
your cut is, and what the job is to be. This, in and of itself is different
from most jobs of its type, but its the way Mako wishes to have thing
work out.

Sunday night (tomorrow as I write this), at Mom's Place. Its a little
korean resturant down in little korea. As I have explained, and will explain
again, this is a fairly safe area, lots of families, and children around so
please leave the hardware in your car or on your bike. If you need to
get to it, its probably already too late and you should be looking for a
place to hide.

In the ten years I have been conducting business / eating here, I have only
once had a problem and it was not directed at me or my client. Be well.

+++++ Include Map

Ask to join the Mitaka group -- dont be embarassed to ask, I know its a little
hole in the wall, that why I eat there, but there are rooms down stairs and
in the back. Everyone inside will know you are there for business and will
keep a respectable distance. For the most part, we are tolerated by
the locals...we pay for the rooms, and that payment keeps their meal prices
lower. Works out well for everyone involved.]<<<<<

Mom's Place is fine. I can't manage completely unarmed without some
major surgery, but I won't bring any firearms in with me. I heard what
happened to one guy who tried to make trouble there... That place
has enough protection that you don't ask questions like 'who protects

Vegetarian's fine by me if that's what everyone else is having, or if
others want animal proteins then I'm happy with that - minimum inconvenience

You're saying Mako has UB connections? I had friends in the UB. I don't
have them any more. I found one of them in the basement of the Fort Worth
chapterhouse when someone hired me to tap their phones. Well, it used to
be my friend before he turned into some sort of oversized ant. More
