>>>>>[I may possibly get in some minor trouble for associating with you,
but under the circumstances, I'll let it slide.
My name is Capt. Abel Porter, UCAS Armed Forces, Seattle. I have heard
through some sources that my brother Caine perished in an attack against
Maxim a few days ago. I could not get all the details from my
sister-in-law, Trish Watson, but the most I got was that he gave his life
to save his colleagues. That is the truest cause for a warrior to fight
for. I regret not having gotten the chance to know him better.
At Trish's behest, I have arranged for his body to be turned over to me
by Maxim in the morning. We will be holding a private funeral at
>>Encrypted<<. Of course, all of you who knew him are welcome to come.
I have been asked to specifically ask for Dr. Alexander Jackson to
attend. Dr. Jackson, I am not familiar with the limitations of your
species, but we will be holding the service at night.
Others who are specifically requested to attend:
(I only know the names of these people)
Irish
Lou
Erika
Dr. Jackson
Diana
Ripley
Jayna
Spirit
Phantom
Manhunter

Of course, this is not a complete list, but those who knew Caine are,
again, more than welcome to pay your last respects. Also, for those who
cannot attend the funeral, Ripley and Lou will be holding a wake at Lou's
Bar and Grill. Dates for these should be about Wednesday or Thursday. We
will let you know. Again, thank you for your time.]<<<<<

>>>>>[Sir, I thank you for your offer, and I feel that it is the least I
could
do to honor the man who gave his life to save my own specifically, and the
lives of all who ran with him on his final run. I will, of course, attend, and
your concern for my well-being regarding the time of the funeral is more than
I could have asked for. Sir, your brother died well. I only hope that I
shall die such a death when my final hour comes to call upon me.

I can never repay the debt of honor I owe your brother, sir, but should you
ever need for anything, for yourself or anyone else, never hesitate to ask, for
if it is within my power to grant, I shall do so unhesitantly. I only regret
that I have to make this offer to you rather than to your brother himself.

Until then.]<<<<<

Indeed,
you may very well find that all of us who were on that last...run...will
desire to attend. Good night, and thank you for your offer.]<<<<<
